*~*~* September 2015 Mummies *~*~*

Oh yes I didnt expect that, I thought they would interact together a bit, even just looking lovingly at one another or smiling :)

My son knows there is a baby in my belly and knows what a baby is, but I don't think he realises that it will one day be real.

Good luck today!
I'm off to work until 8pm :-( really wish I had finished now x

Thanks H16 - everyone's so organised! Totally need to start writing a list of what you've all said so I'm not constantly flicking back through the threads! I'm due officially on the 19th but they think it'll come a week early. (Fingers crossed!)
And Gillyboos good luck today! so exciting to have twins - tho I feel for you in the tummy space department! Feeling like I'm going to explode with just one! X

I don't feel too organised in terms of my hospital bag :-p
Ive still got over 7 weeks to go though x

Good luck gillyboos, enjoy seeing your girlies again!

My midwife app was fine, all bang on but one little thing I am questioning. Last time I went I was measuring 1cm ahead, and am now 1cm behind. Midwife just said 'perfect' but looking back at my notes I see she had me down as being 31 weeks not 32. This means in 5 weeks I have grown 3cm whereas I should have grown 5. Do you think this is ok? Now was about when belle started to slow in growth so guessing maybe this baby is doing the same, but wish I had realised her mistake at the time so I could have spoken to her about it. Next app is 3 weeks time and I guess they wouldn't do anything before then anyway?

We also discussed my quick labour, and I asked it it could maybe have been due to being induced but she thinks it's more likely that that is just how I labour, and so again pressed important of getting straight to hospital... Just hope I make it!! Dot fancy a roadside birth!

Also for anyone else who has put on hip/bum weight, midwife said its called 'brown fat' and it develops to help you with feeding. She said brown fat easily comes off after birth and for now is a good think. Hoorah! Pass back the cake! Xx

Wow I have never heard of brown fat before but now I don't feel so bad about weight gain as funnily enough I have put weight on around my hips this time lol. I wouldn't worry too much about the measurements hun, I got measured two completely different measurements in one week, the first measurement being bigger than the second! I just think all midwives measure slightly differently and also position of baby may change the measurement slightly too x

Thanks h.

I had never heard of brown fat either, but if it is easy to shift I am happy with that!!! I did have it last time, but not as much I don't think! However, it did come off easily after she was born, and feeding was easy for me too so hoping for the same this time! Xx

Glad your app went well Tess, I wouldn't worry too much about it either! Getting close now isn't it, how long was your first labor again?

We've just picked up the keys for our house too - very exciting day! xxx

Just had my scan. Both still breech. :( Waiting to see the consultant now, pretty sure this was the cut off and she'll book me a section date. Measurements were really difficult to take as they're top and tailing. X

Thanks Gilly!

Let us knw, will you find out today? X x

Shame about the measurements hun but at least you should have more of an idea about your birthing plan after today x

I'm hoping I lose the weight around my hips, even my thighs are a bit thicker as my trousers are definitely tighter around that area x

I am already planning my fitness regime for after baby is born, hate the idea of being chunky for much longer, I feel really fat at mo lol. I will be going back to doing T25 workout 2 months after baby is born :D x

I'm going to do 30 Day Shred and Pilates as soon as I can after baby!

Measurements are spot on but saw the registrar instead of my consultant and didn't get a section date. Explained what the consultant had said and the registrar just said they'd book it at my 36 week scan and appointment. Means it will only be a week or so after. Registrar also said there is still time for the babies to move which contradicts everything the consultant and midwife have said. Healthy and growing babies are the important thing though. :)

How you feeling about the short notice with regards to the C Section Gilly?
Yes 100% healthy babys is the main thing, can't wait to see your little ones :)

I run my own health and fitness business so absolutely can not wait to get back to it with my clients, boot camp 2 months after having little miss I think :) Already devised my self a fat loss program to start when I've had her and go from there, I've been told a lot of Mum's find it hard to eat proper meals when little one first arrives so I also put together some programs for that too so excited that I won't be snacking on crap :)

Good luck with the move!

On the measurements iv just had my midwife app and apparently I'm measuring two weeks ahead but last time I was at the top end of where I'm supposed to be stil ok tho. So they're sending me for a glucose test next week to make sure I don't have gestational diabetes - has anyone else had this? Iv no family history of diabetes... x

I caved and rang midwife to discuss measurement ~ don't want to be a worry wort for next 3 weeks! She is ringing back later.

Bunny last labour was 1 hour 16 minutes from 3cm to birth. Everything was going nice and smoothly until 3cm and then suddenly all hell broke loose... Sounds like I need to be prepared for the same this time!! At least it will be over with quickly, but still not an experience I want to repeat.

Gillyboos I hate it when you get different answers from different people, but absolutely healthy babies are top priority. Sounds like you are doing brilliantly xxx
