I do need to do housework today. While I was at dinner yesterday, it seemed my OH and son trashed the house haha.
Waiting to go to my grandparents though. I said 10.30 as didn't think I'd quite be up at 6.15 this morning! X

Thanks ladies - good luck Michelle, 2 Midwives and a doctor thought my boy was breech until they did the scan - was just his bony bum! So you never know (I said he must have inherited my husbands looks if they can't tell the difference )

They send a letter in the post but they ring the next day if your results come back as having GD. Well, that's what my district do. xx

Morning! Gosh so much to get caught up on!! Looks like it's not been a great week for most - hope this improves for the weekend!
This thread (15 pages to catch up on last night) was about the only thing that kept my sanity last night! I think I must have got just 3 hrs sleep last night soo uncomfy! Has anybody got any sleeping tips? Or is this just training for the night feeds!! Lol! I tried pillow between my legs, under my bump (that just hurts when I put it there!)....

Hope your app goes well today Summer - I had the glucose test last week (came back negative ) and it was just boring not painful at least! MW sent me a text following day - I asked if I could have result Asap so I didn't have to worry about it!

Really fancy some dime bars now - but il just have to wait til our Ikea trip on Monday!
And happy last day x

Ps everyone seems to be asking me about wether I have been tested for Bstrep but I didnt think we could get tested for it here? What are all your thoughts? Xx

when did if any of you start drinking raspberry leaf tea? I'm 34 weeks on Sunday and don't know when to start drinking it? I know it helps with labour and helps things relax a bit more. I just don't know when to start drinking it. Also I can't get comfortable to sleep properly and the pregnancy pillow is just not working anymore any tips would be brill xxx

With GTT here they say the hospital ring u directly.

No advice with sleeping. Slept like a baby with my son but this time round, it's not going to plan lol!

Raspberry leaf last time I started at 32 weeks. I had totally forgotten until you mentioned it. So now that I am 35 weeks I think I will start today

Happy last day bunny! I've still got another month of work, feel like I'm missing out, lol. But it's working from home so not all bad.

My mw recommended raspberry tea from 36wk but I'm gonna pick some up next week (34w), apparently it's vile.

I'm not getting any sleep either ladies, just too uncomfortable and pillow doesn't seem to work anymore and been really sore and aches last few days. Hoping its just the full moon and next week will be a bit better.

And by the way, what has happened to our summer? x

Same as the rest of you with sleep... Just not happening, have given up with preg pillow, just get up and wander around the house until i drift off! Had some totally crazy movements last night, but was spinning her whole body round, head up, head down, was crazy..... My dominos pizza nearly made a reappearance! Anyway thankfully she seems to have settled back where she was before, so not straight down but at least not head up!

After my miserable day yesterday I went to bed at half 5, hubby bought pizza up to bed and I didn't get up till this morning. He is being so good the last week, so appreciative! He is on a stag do this weekend but cbeebies have a big event by here so looking forward to going to that tomorrow with Belle.

Hope all the appointments go ok today, Michelle looking forward to hearing about your scan! Bunny happy last day! I have 2 more weeks to go... So glad leave was bought forward by 2 weeks, don't think I could do another 4 with how physical it is. Happy Friday everyone! X

I loved the taste of raspberry leaf tea last time!! I'm not having any this time, determined to go as far as I can with the twins as I want them to be as big/developed as they can be. The tea didn't work for me last time (nothing did) but it'd be my luck for it to work this time!
Your hubby sounds like a dream, Tessa!
No advice for sleep either, I've been sleeping in the sofa for over a week now, I find it easier to stay on my side and the back to rest on eases my back ache. X

I actually don't think the tea tastes too bad. Problem is, it's impossible to tell if it actually does do anything for you or not. Because you're never going to experience the same birth with or without the tea.

Just back from the scan b all is good baby Hayes is head down n 4lb10!! So not breech at all must just have a big bum lol.

So all booked into have induction 1st Sept unless anything crops up in that time. Very excited now.

Yay! Glad everything was well with your scan Michelle same as mine - just a big bony butt! Ha.

GTT test was fine - felt a bit woozy after the drink but I guess not eating for 12hrs then chugging a cup of watery icing sugar will do that!
They said hopefully someone would ring me by Tuesday afternoon if there was any issues.

Michelle, what's the reason for induction with GD - is it just due to baby's size or a bit more complicated than that ...?
