Sounds fab Tess love it when Harry's face lights up makes the 5.30 starts worth it!!

had a terrible nights sleep Sat with Harry being restless n hubby cuming in drunk but last night I made him sleep on the sofa m got a goI'd night, still didn't want to get up at 5.30 tho!!

Can't wait to start seeing everyone's Labour threads still seems unreal that I'm in the countdown to birth now I'm so not ready lol.

I know what you mean hun, I haven't even finished the nursery yet and was meant to be getting our daughter a new cotbed but can't afford it yet lol. If anyone sees any great cotbed/mattress bargains let me know. OH on training induction at work so on reduced pay so we are not very flush at the mo x

I got both my cots second hand n just bought New mattresses from toys r us. Think they were the cheapest place near to me.

Harry's room looks so strange with his little cot bed and a cot in it just so pleased he took to his bed so well.

he was also such an easy baby n slept through from 6 wks so I'm thinking I'm defo not guna b lucky again!!!

Are you signed up to bounty? They always have fantastic offers on cot beds/ mattresses - we've already got ours but saw a really decent mamas & papas one on there (I think last week?) 75% off!! The offers always have an expiry but they are released each week xxx

We found our cotbed on kiddicare with our son. Haven't brought another one yet. It was less than £200 with mattress.
I really cannot wait until August! x

Hope everyone is feeling ok today? Was thinking about setting up a Facebook group for AFTER babies are born, and wondered what everyone thinks? I thought it would be nice to stay on here before then, and keep labour threads etc on here, but wondered if it might be easier for after babies are born, especially for sharing pics etc? Let me know what you all think? Xx

Sorry haven't been very active recently I've been struggling with pains and back ache so just been resting as much as possible. 3 weeks left in work but really wishing I was finishing sooner!

Really panicking again as been told a lot that labour pains start in the back. I'm in work and just had to come sit in the back under the air con as I'm getting hot sweats and pains in my back x x x

I had back pain for few days before labour with my daughter but I have also had back problems during pregnancy just due to muscles and a back that's prone to problems. Remember you are carrying a lot more weight now which puts pressure on the best of backs. Try and take it easy hun, easier said than done if you are at work though I know. If it persists I would just give midwife a quick call to see what she thinks but hopefully it is just strain rather than labour signs x

We did this after my son, all of us found that facebook was easier afterwards and we came off of the forum. I'm still friends with a few now and part of the group.
My bump buddy and I still occasionally chat on whatsapp and she is pregnant again aswell

I'm sure all is okay? Hope your back pain eases. Can't say as I remember any pain in my back when in labour.
Keep forgetting that I need to do a hospital bag!Oops x

Thanks H I can't wait to get home and have a warm bath and rest! I've had a really chilled weekend of resting too just think my body's shocked with the extra weight , bump and water ha !

Tut tut Kelly haha. I know what you mean, mine is 95% packed as of last week but that's only because with my two hospital visits in the last 2 weeks I felt like I needed to do it for peace of mind otherwise I am sure it would still be half empty right now! X

Tess - definitely up for a Facebook group after the babies are here. Like I say, I love throne I have with the girls from when my little boy was born.

Bunny - hope the pain eases after a bath and relax.

Kelly - You need to get a wiggle on now with the bag! Time is ticking haha. Everything is packed for the twins but I have nothing for me, going to go shopping next week and get some big pants, leggings, nursing tops and pjs, as well as some travel size toiletries, that way I can have it all in. Last time I was still chucking things in as I was leaving for induction!

Hubby's birthday today, just getting ready to go out for a meal, can't wait, been so busy with the house and work that I'm looking forward to a treat and some family time. My parents are coming but my MIL couldn't make it, so it will be very chilled. xx
