Aw bunny. You poor woman :(
Seems we are all struggling in this heat. Not sunny in northern ireland but extrememly warm and clammy with no wind whatsoever!
Im off till monday thank god, totally dreading going into the work place with no air con in this weather :(. Trying to make the most of it with my lb tho as OH is away and we dont get much quality time together.

Summer that is one amazing pic!!

Havent been on in such a long time ;due to my internet being down. So that was a lot of reading to do lol!

Midwives forgot about my gloucose test so at my 28 week app we managed to get one booked for 2 days after - all came back clear and wasnt as bad as what i thought! The waiting and not being able to drink killed me most!

Also got brilliant news! My SIL is pregnant too!! Such a shock as she is not maternal in the slightest. She found put 2 weeks before telling us and she is already 21 weeks!!!! Due on my sons birthday so my kids will have a little cousin! Its all so exciting! Xx

Awwww my SIL is pregnant too, due Christmas Day. It's her 3rd but still so nice to share the journey together!

I went the GP this morning and he's gave me tablets and eye drops! Yay!!!!! Can only take them till I'm 35 weeks but that's when I leave work so made up it'll make the next few weeks easier. Doctor was horrified id suffered for so long.

Got a spa day tomorrow as part of my baby shower present of Mum so really can't wait for that and staying at mum's tonight means feet up and spoilt. Love it! Feel like a child again haha!

Been a lot cooler today so hope I get a better sleep tonight as do all you ladies. I've heard it's meant to get very hot again tomorrow, have you tried sitting with your feet in a cold bucket of water? Xxxxx

Hey ladies, sorry to hear you or your loved ones are suffering a bit. Hope everyone feels better soon.

I've loved my 4 days off work, feel so relaxed and it's definitely eased my Crohns. Dreading going back Monday but it's only for 9 working days so silver linings and all that. Had my long hair chopped off in to a bob yesterday, feels so much better off my neck but not sure if I'll regret it when I'm not hormonal!

Morning everyone ~ so set for another hot one today ~ hope we all cope ok!

So last night, it seems I phoned my mum in my sleep. I was woken but my phone ringing, turns out it wasy mum asking why I had phoned her. I told her I didn't and that she had just woken me up, but when I look back at my phone records it seems I did in fact make the call. Don't understand how my phone could have done it by itself, so I am guessing I 'sleep phoned?' Wondering if sleep activity is more commonplace in pregnancy?? Has made me a bit worried about what else might happen! Any ideas?? X

Gillyboos, I think I need to do that with my hair next week!

Ohh how odd about the phone call! I have always wondered what stuff we do when asleep. I swear some dreams feel so real, like going downstairs to check the door is locked etc x

I had a letter today saying I need to speak to my midwife as my Hb levels are low and may need iron. I've heard that maybe if it's too low you can't have your baby at a birthing centre. Hope that's not true. I'll have to speak to her. Don't see her until 28th though x

I had the same letter and doctors rang last week to say they had a prescription of iron tablets for me. Had them last time with Amelia. Can't say I feel any different having taken them for a week though :-)

Mary Poppins - how bizarre  Can't say I've ever sleep walked / sleep phoned ... That I know of :oooo:

Had our 4D scan today! Such an amazing experience to see his little face. So in love already. Everything's looking perfect and he's weighing in at 4lbs 1 (31wks) so estimated 8-9lbs by due date! Let's hope he's on time!! Xxx

How many mg are you on Katherine? I'm on 600mg a day and have noticed I am less tired. I see spots when I forget to take them.

I wrote a long post about name choices earlier but it disappeared!!! We are both agreed on Merryn for one of the names and had sort of compromised on Thea for the second. I do really like Thea but my only issue (and I'm sure I'm being silly) is that Otto (our son's name) has meaning for us as we were in Germany when we found out we were pregnant, visiting hubby's late father's home town. Merryn is linked to the first trip we took as a couple. I wanted to call my lb Saoirse if he was a girl as my grandad is Irish and he always loved the name, he wanted my mum to call me it. But hubby says it's too difficult to pronounce....it really isn't once you're told how to say it!
I'm being hormonal but I want some of my heritage within the names too, my grandma was Spanish and grandad Irish, I'm not too keen on Spanish names as I do think they lose something with British pronunciation but I really love Saoirse. I think I'm just put out because hubby usually gives in but isn't so far with this! Ha x

How odd Mary I don't think I've ever done that or heard of anyone doing it in pg but u never know what these pesky hormones do to us.

I'm so tired today Harry was on off from 4-6 this morn so I'm knackered now n hubbys out fir the Eve so wantto sleep now incase it's the sane thing again in the morn.

Anyone else starting to get scared that it'd all happening so fast now. Really want time to slow down, only 8 wks to go!!!

Summer our little miss was 3 and a half lb at 30'weeks so think we're pretty much the same?
Didn't give me a estimated due weight tho, always assumed she would be tiny as me and OH we're birth under 6. Worried now haha xxx

I think it's using a very rough guide of baby puts on half a pound a week from now but all babies have different growth rates some slow down towards end some have a growth spurt.
Both me, my brother and hubby were around the 8/9lbs mark though so wouldn't be at all surprised. Brother was 9lbs 10 and a week overdue (mum ended up with emergency c-sec, she's small like me) - so I'm hoping our little chap makes a timely exit before the 9lb mark!

I'm on the same, 600mg a day. I have good and bad nights, depending on how Amelia sleeps. The heat this week hasn't helped. 10 more days to work :-)

Awww I'm sure he will babe! Your scan pictures are amazing , what an experience 4D was! All excited now? Xxxx

Awww brill scan pic Summer :)

Gilly - is that pronounced sir-sha? If so I love that name too, I had never heard of it until about a year ago when I saw an interview on Jonathan Ross show with an actress who has that name :) Keep trying to convince him, it's nice to have meaning to names. Our daughters middle name is after my late nan and our little boys middle name is a passed down name on my OH's side for this reason :)

Hope everyone is doing well in this heat?

My little girl is finally on the mend, she has managed to stop being sick now, just need to stop the runs now poor thing! I am shattered though having been up with her through the last couple of nights. Tonight is the first night she has gone to bed in her own room but I have plugged the baby monitor back in temporarily as I am paranoid about her being sick in her sleep again as she has been vomiting whilst asleep the last couple of days and I have choking worries. Fingers crossed the sickness won't come back anyway though :) x

Yeaaa! :) so amazing to see his features and see him pulling all sorts of faces haha. I think my husbands reaction moved me more though - he was lit up like a Christmas tree just going 'wow ... He's real ... Like a real person ... That's my son!' was so sweet.

Just for anyone interested - I saw a post ages ago on facebook for 'the cuddle company' (Bunny may have even been you that posted it?!) They make gorgeous personalised blankets and comforters for babies - you can chose patchwork designs from loads of different materials and basically have your own design made (with babies name embroidered if you wish). I designed and ordered one for our little man, it arrived and it's just beautiful!! The material and quality etc. is amazing. I went for a large patchwork one, personalised with taggies around the edge. I love it and have it in my hospital bag ready to be his first blanket :)

Xxx

Glad your little girl is getting better H16!! Must be horrible when they're poorly - hope you both get done good rest over the weekend xxx

Fab pics. We've not even thought about names yet. We only picked Amelia on the morning of the section - don't know what we'd have done if she was a boy!

Yessss a Summer that was me, my friend sent it me so thought I'd share it. So glad yours came and is amazing quality!

Awww I know what you mean, my Mum, Fiancé and Best Friend came. Mum was sobbing which made me cry, Paul and my best friend couldn't stop saying wow and Awww look at her. It's amazing , so amazing what technology can do. Just can't wait to meet her now! xxxxxx
