October testing

I did a test this morning and it was a BFN, I'm still waiting on AF though, have been to the toilet a million times but absolutely nothing is going on there. I've been late on before though so knowing my luck she'll wake me up at silly o'clock tomorrow morning and I'll have to contend with period pains and the Monday morning blues. Bugger.

Hiya Binzy, i know how you feel, i'm still waiting to see if af will arrive and i'm getting bfn! annoying much! I have thought about it over the weekend..and i was thinking yeah i could still be in with a chance, but now i'm not getting my hopes up. if she comes, then bring on next month :).

Bang on schedule, an hour into the 18th and AF is here. I guess the good news is that she didnt keep me waiting and hoping. All I keep thinking is WHY, WHY, WHY am I not getting pregnant? It will be 2 years next month! TWO YEARS! All our tests have come back really positive, we are having sex the right amount at the right time, it just isnt fair........ :-(

Sorry Star Fish :( I think you should start them doing less invasive proceedures like ICI or IUI - assuming it's your cervix that is thwarting the spermies.

Just wanted to ask if you have been to your GP for this? I thought if it didn't work out after one year of trying you could go and see the doctor and they then do tests (both the male and female) that are more extensive than the first ones. Like testing your blood several times a month to see if you actually ovulate and if there is something going on in your body etc etc.

If all is normal 2 years is way above average to not fall pregnant on your own and maybe there is only a small change you could make to help getting pregnant. (I for example saw a documentary last year about people who changed their diet to a vegetarian lots of fruit and vegetables smoothies too and got more succes with getting pregnant. Not saying this is the way to go but just giving a suggestion).

Hope you get pregnant soon.

Many hugs.

Thanks Helen, it's all good advice but the tests you mention are the ones we've already had, and my diet is almost completely vegetarian anyway, I only eat meat about once a month though i try to eat fish twice a week. I'm trying acupuncture next, the guy I'm going to see apparently has a 60% sucess rate, my doctor recommended him, so fingers crossed x

hi starfish, sorry it wasn't your month :( you really do deserve a BFP! i agree with the ladies, are there not any further tests that could be done?? xx

Thanks Positivity and definitely the same to you too, you really deserve it, maybe next month for us both FX. There are always more tests, we check my tubes next, then a really gross one where they check if my liquids are killing his sperm or something, I can't stand 'internal' exams (though i'm sure everyone feels like that).

Hey, I dont know if it's my place to say, but i noticed MrsH2009 got a BFP and she is on the list here, do you want to check with her Flopsy about being updated on here?

Thought I might be in, got a BFP on Saturday (3 actually!) very excited so tested again on Sunday and got 2 BFN. Was waiting to test again tomorrow but am out today. Doctor said it was a chemical pregnancy - ************!!!:wall2:Fingers crossed for November

So, so sorry to hear that Beanster. :( :(

FX for November for you. x

:afalert: I think I am out! Thought it was too good to be true!
Good luck to those of you still in!

Hi starfish,

The documentary I saw was about males sperm count and the activeness of the sperm. Sometimes there are not enough but sometimes there are enough but they don't swim fast enough. These men were given 3 smoothies a day (and a balanced diet with lots of grains, low on meat and oily fish and dairy) and in a month the sperm count and the way they were swimming improved dramatically. I cannot recall the name of the programme so sorry but maybe if you were to look it up in google you could find some more information. (if you were interested of course).

Untill you get pregnant I will keep my fingers crossed for you! Many babyvibes and babydust. Sending it your way.

You're so nice to suggest all this. And I'm sure for someone only it will be really helpful. Sperm not the problem though, we had that test and his score was extremely high. Both in quantity and mobility, slightly low on 'shape' but she said as count was so high he still avaraged out about 7 times better than you need to be. So no explaination there, it must be me :-(

Hi all, I'm out too, the witch got me this morning just to add to that crappy Monday feeling and a shitty day at work and my oh is out having pizza after the football and I feel bleuhhhh. What a crap day.

So sorry to all the ladies who are out for this month, heres to November!
