**** October Testing Thread****

Well, I've got home after a thoroughly shitty day at work to two jack russell shits on the floor, the bakewell muffins I saved and the chocolate brownies that I put safe in the kitchen away from the feckin rascal terrier! All because the bloody other half got peckish and just left them on the side.

Good job he wasn't here as despite being normally very laid back, I was absolutely livid! Almost burst into tears!

Trying to relax now but a little crampy and grumpy lol

Haha sorry GG sounds typical man thing to do! If we had dogs my oh would be a nightmare he's bad enough on his own leaving everything all over, he cant put a cup in the sink or a crisp packet in the bin! He leaves half eaten stuff all around! I run round picking up for him. He just doesn't think ahead at all.

Didn't put myself down for this month for some reason so can you put me down for 30th please hun, 7dpo today and had such a dull ache in my womb area sort of like a pressure. Trying to not think to much of it xx

Thanks everyone. Yeah it's frustrating everything is so good . Yeah if was something not right at keast was sometging to fix. The doc said it's strange why it isn't happening. I think we can try the cycle coming as won't have hsg appt till december no doubt? Maybe the hsg will show something?

Just been for our appt. It was so quick she asked us a few questions looked at DH sperm results and she said were excellent and my ovulation bloods really good level at 44 so I habe been refered for a hsg scan or whatever it's called in 4-6 weeks time. She said cant ttc during the time leading up to tne scan so that will be our break I giess. I've to go back in January for next steps after than. Feel better for starting the ball rolling.

Glad your appointment went well Alexis. When I went for my HSG, they were very specific about only doing it within the first 10 days of cycle so they can be as sure as they can be that you're not pregnant. I think I ended up having mine on CD6 and only had slight discomfort for about a day after so we ended up not having to miss a month. Hope that's helpful.

I scratched the poas itch today despite promising I wouldn't. Why do we do It? I kept thinking I know it will be negative but this little voice tells me you never know. Of course another BFN so now just waiting for AF whenever she decides to show her face. Looking like onto cycle 6 for us. Had a bad day today so feeling pretty low. Horse is poorly so dealing with that as well as everything else. Glad got couple of days off work to try and pull myself round x

This mornings isn't a squinter. Negative on a digi but still only 11dpo so that's actually not bothered me at all.

I'll still be happier when it's stronger but yes, it's nice just to get a steady progression.

Wondering when the digi will turn positive. I have a cb weeks indicator as well but no way I'm ready to use that!! Lol

Ah yeah I see what you mean so if you did it straight atfer af you can still try. They are just sending me an appt by post so not sure how that will work. Did you go back to work after it? I haven't told my work anything yet...wanted to wait till had all the tests to see what the plan was. If the hsg comes back normal then not sure where that leaves us? Does the hsg show up any ovary problems she never mentioned scanning my ovaries? I am dreading the hsg is it not horrible?? Smears are bad enough! I am just frustrated they havent found a reason for it not to be haopening. Its not like we even have lower results she used the words fantastic amd excellent on our results. Nothibg nakes sence. My mum is 1 of 7 and my gran was like one of like 5 and then all down ganily tree loads of babies and twins. ( i am a non identical twin) we have always had bad luck with everything...eg honeymoon flights got cancelled then they lost both our cases.....make up and hair person cancelled on morning of my wedding....maid of honor got drunk had a argument and left and we never spoke again.I dunno just examples of nothing going right ever for us. My mum says I've worst luck ever and I call it the curse ! I am fed up of it

Awww Alexis everyone always joked about how bad our luck is too!
The hsg isn't too bad really. I didn't take any painkillers before and it hurt a bit because one of my tubes was blocked. The other tube which was fine it didn't hurt at all really. When they tried to put dye through the blocked one it kind of felt like sharp cramps really low down and then for a few days I felt a bit achy but no more achy that I usually get during ov. Maybe take some painkillers before? But it's not as bad as you think .. I googled loads and scared myself! They say it can help clear any tiny bits that aren't quite blockages and that you have a better chance of conceiving the months after so fingers crossed for you . xxxx
