hi just joining the October thread, I am 1/2dpo today and I can't wait to find out if it worked this month

sorry to the girls getting bfns, would love to see some positive news soon.

I didn't sleep well last night for thinking about when I'd test (I told myself next Sunday at the earliest) so to shut myself up I tested with a cheapie today, was a bfn but at 7dpo I knew it would be. I feel like my plan has worked though and I should be able to hold off until Friday or Saturday now

Gutted got called out when I had just finished my 10 hr shift so ended up working 8.00- 00.00 which is like 16 hours! Being a charge nurse on call really gets in the way of dtd. So I am cd#10 today and we haven't dtd for over 1 week now due to work but still neg opks but wanted to get started..hopefully can start tonight. It feels like everything is against us even trying to get pregnant. I wanted to say on phone no I can't work all evening as I have a baby to make !! Grrrrrr I couldn't speak to my colleage about her texting me her news about being pregnant. I had it all planned in my head I would say lovely news etc but as day went on I found it harder to say until I didn't say a thing. Now it's awkward. Dam it! I didn't want to be tbe bitter jealous type but it's happening.

don't be too hard on yourself, Alexis. You are only human. Your emotions are normal, you are dealing with this situation the best way you know how. Saying nothing might be kinder than trying to make the right sounds and coming over as contrived. I just want it to be your turn already!!!

Reluctantly, LOL, I did a test today, - I'm 11dpo. My temp dropped from 37.04 at 9DPO to 36.98 10dpo and stayed at 36.98 today. My cervix is high, medium and closed. I have some cramping on and off and a little bit more CM than what I have experienced this entire time after O. I'm not negative, but so far, looking at all of the data, I am not leaning toward a happy ending this cycle. I'll see what tomorrow's temp bring. At the end of the day all that is left to do is suck it up and try again, eh?

Sorry Kat. It is still early so I'll keep my fingers crossed for you just in case. xx

Sorry theres not many BFPs this month. I am hoping to hit peak fertility around Friday...so hoping for a busy wknd of dtd! 2 weeks tmrw till our assisted conception appt...counting down the days now. I am sure I either ovulate same time my LH surge is or its miles after as I am obviously missing it even when dtd 3 days over the peak tests? So it s like either the sperm are getting there too late or time egg is there tbe sperm has perished ?

Edited - I habe some ewcm tonight and cervix seems open but opk 100% neg. Going to dtd anyway ! Eeek so bizarre as its mega early cd#10 ! Let the fun begin! X

I ovulated cd9 after my second chemical and I never got a positive opk...I had loads of ewcm so dtd and got a positive hpt just over a week later. Lost that too but.. it does show that things don't always happen by the book. Xx

Sorry girls.... Has *anyone* has a bfp this month? I just tested two days before AF is due, in light of having several days of cramping and tender boobs.... I thought I could see faintest of lines but DH disagreed and now looking at it, can't see anything so...BFN. Considering its about 11dpo I was hoping maybe I'd see something.. But perhaps the witch is early... And making a grand entrance. I never have cramps and sore boobs from CD24 for goodness sake!

Still not going to be too negative until she shows up... Let's hope we have lots of bfps in November to make up for this month eh!

Wouldn't it be the craziest thing if you O without a +OPK AND get your bfp too??? Would explain ALOT

Hi hon, I'm okay. Back in the swing of things. Started opking this morning and expecting to start AI again on Friday. Keep hearing good stories about AI so am hopeful, although with all the weight loss and swimming and Maca, DH seems to be doing better so might not need it. I think taking the pressure off is helping! Am pushing him to book a test for the swimmers next week. Also started vitamin D as apparently that's really important for fertility.

Hope Laura's okay.

How's your temp today? Are you gonna test again soon or wait a few days? xx

I swear the other month I ovulated 24 hours before I got a positive on the cheapie opk...I felt it. I don't think our bodies always behave the way they are supposed to. Definitely a good idea to trust the EWCM. Good luck! xx

It's 14dpo for me today, but too scared to test as I had a little bit of spotting last night so know I'm going to be disappointed. If AF hasn't come by tonight I might go for it.

Hello ladies thought i'd pop in to see how everyone is doing. Am gutted to see the AF seems to be getting lots of us. FX we get some BFPs soon

Af has finally disappeared (I think) shocked to learn to some ladies only have AF for couple days, i'm on CD8 now so according to smep plan you start DTD every other day til ovulation. I don't normally ovulate til CD19 would love it to be earlier this month, so potentially a way to go for us yet Had some early morning DTD today.

I'm in two minds about whether to OPK this month or not - my app says fertile window now so should really be OPKing now .. but kind of thinking I don't want to and just wait and see. But then when AF comes along end of the month I'll be annoyed I haven't tried. Feel like I'm just setting myself up for disappointment!!

Hi hon, I'm okay. Back in the swing of things. Started opking this morning and expecting to start AI again on Friday. Keep hearing good stories about AI so am hopeful, although with all the weight loss and swimming and Maca, DH seems to be doing better so might not need it. I think taking the pressure off is helping! Am pushing him to book a test for the swimmers next week. Also started vitamin D as apparently that's really important for fertility.

I am SO pleased that your DH is doing so well, I think a spern test won't hurt and I'm confident that he has good strong swimmers! I'm in your corner rooting for you. You deserve this so very much hun xxxx

Temp went back up again this morning, but not with much. Just a little nudge from 36.98 to 37.01. I have been experiencing that tightening around my right hand side, almost like my back muscle goes into a painless spasm. So hard to explain it and Google isn't helping. Got cramps today, feel like AF is coming any minute which will make her early. I'm exhausted and my boobs hurt. Sharp shooting pain. If tomorrow's temp is still in the 37s I'll do a test but if I look at my usual pattern it should do a major decline tomorrow resulting in AF on Friday...FX that the got drowned in the Durban floods we had Yesterday Hahah

JR...consider which option, emotionally, would be worse for you... Not using OPKs and feel like you didn't catch the egg because there's a chance it would have been different if you did... Oooor using OPKs and at least know that a possible negative was no fault on your part. Either way hun...you are doing the best you can. Xxxxx don't be hard on yourself

That part of the month drives me potty! I'm really hoping your temp stays up!!! All those symptoms could be either AF or pregnancy! I really hope this is your month!!! xxx
