Laura what dpo are you? If 10 or more I would Test if you habe cheapies. I have cheapies I use and then would only use more expensive ones if late. Good luck!

Start now, clear out the old sperm and go at it every other day...you'll be well covered. Xx

Apparently the clearing out the old sperm thing is a myth - they regenerate and the old sperm get reabsorbed if past their best before date. One less thing to do! It does help though to have regular sex as it signals to both brains that more energy needs to go into reproduction and it increases sperm quality.

Yeah we struggle to have the time and energy to cover every 2nd day for more than 1 week. I am on call from last week amd work 2 extra hours per day so its tough. Going to try dtd from tonight every 2nd day ( then thats from cd#8 To cd#20

Last study my GP read was that you are correct but...they are generally lower quality before being reabsorbed so it's good to have a clear out. Sounds so romantic doesn't it!

I usually ovulate cd 20 so never know what day to start. My ewcm seems to start around cd 10 xx

I think it's like anything with numbers or information...different people will extrapolate different results from the exact same results.

And one year we're told something is terrible for us, next...we should all be doing it because it's so good. Bloody hard to keep up!

I agree with Pidge, definitely worth a try. Maybe a change in routine will do the trick. No harm in mixing it up.

Good luck Alexis....i have had similar thought process this cycle. Bit fristrated already...after long AF finally got back in the saddle yesterday amd was great but he didn't get there so purely was one for fun. Then big fat rejection tonight.....so am sulking. He doesn't have the same sex drive as me but was super keen to try hard this month and go for every other day. But think we ve fallen at the first hurdle. I'm working late tomorrow hence why today was meant to squeeze in DTD today. Just all so frustrating and feel like chucking in the towel....at only 5 months in.....so much respect for you who are way longer than this.

Just so sick of juggling....meant to be selling my horse cos we starting a family but that's a joke if I can't get pregnant and then if the horse goes and I still can't get pregnant it's not gonna help my positivity. Sorry for rant just needed to vent ladies xx

We have been trying 10 months and every month we have covered tne fertile period and then some...but it hadn't been easy. DH always says I've not to tell him when the best time is but i am fed up doing temps and opks and then saying hello there come hither. I would hold on to your horse until you need to give him/her up as if that horse makes you happy don't change it unless you have too.

I have wanted to throw the towel in many times but we have our infertility clinic appt this month so light at tbe end of tbe tunnel I am sure!

Hopefully more are coming this month.
Im just going into my 2 week wait, think I've just ovulated as slight soreness in boobs and few cramps? Plus emotional.

I have no idea what's going on with me. Should have come on on Saturday but instead, Wednesday I had teeny pink spotting all day, very small amounts. Thursday was actual bleeding but didn't even half fill a pad and there were some little clots in the loo. Nothing Friday. Yesterday, a couple of pale pink wipes. Tested just in case today, bfn. Expected it. Have almost ewcm like discharge as well today. I have no idea anymore.

You'll have plenty of time to sell when you're pregnant. Your horse might be just the ticket for your mental well being while you're waiting for your BFP.

So I wouldn't really class that as a period?
Maybe test again in a couple of days? Could be you caught late and had some breakthrough/implantation bleeding? Hopefully, you never know!!
Yes im not too hopeful that I will move over to the pregnant thread anymore just sticking with the if it happens it happens plan. Have dtd in fertile window but turned him down last night because getting sore, to be honest I think im turning him down tonight because I cba which is unlike me but he's still doing weights and its nearly midnight lol. Xxx
