**** October Testing Thread****

So the witch started to show her face late Wednesday night. Cramps were so bad I was up half the night and she was in full force yesterday. Had a complete meltdown on Wednesday night. Not because I had any belief that we had done it but because I knew we hadn't and here I was right as usual. I've lost count of what cycle we're on now. To be honest, I think I'd rather not know. It's the first month I've really felt like I may be done. My head still wants to keep going but I really feel like my heart has given up. I knew I'd take this one harder than usual since its our first proper cycle after having the polyp removed. Just to add further issues to what feels like an endless list, I actually feel like the witch has almost gone. It's only CD2. This happened last month but I put it down to the surgery. So now I'm worried that the polyp has been bleeding every month and my lining is rubbish or something. It wouldn't surprise me. Sorry for the rant but I really do feel like a pile of crap. Bit worrying that this is a massive improvement from yesterday haha. I think I've already got myself down for 31st. Might as well keep it just for fun as my cycles are usually about 26 days.

So sorry to hear this. Hopefully next month is your month xx

Thanks Millie. On the plus side we're going on holiday tomorrow which I feel is well deserved by this point. Will be good to just chill out and relax and just get away from it all.

Thanks guys. Maybe it is normal to only bleed for 2 days. I always bled for about 5 before and they always said that was normal? Don't get me wrong I'm happy to only bleed for 2 days as long as it's not an issue haha! I've had 2 scans already which they said were normal apart from the polyp and they didn't see anything else when they took the polyp out so I know I'm probably stressing over nothing but I'll add it to the list of questions. On the plus side my house got a very good clean today as I had the day off and decided it was best to keep busy!

I only had 1 proper day of red blood this cycle and it was brown dc 4 days after then that was it....strange things !

Have a great holiday. Try to just focus on having some fun. Don't give up.... maybe just take a break? We are all here for you hunni. X

Ooh I'll look in Tesco thanks :)
We had planned the repeat for a few weeks but I think we might try vitamins etc first and give it a bit longer till treatment as after talking about it we are really wanting to keep our savings to go towards a house if possible . I just really hope it happens without the clinics help! So we can save all the clinic stress and money. I'm worried he has a thing where sperm can decline rapidly as the consultant suggested that but from what people on here have said motility can be fixed and if we know hes low in vitamim D it's likely to be that?xx

So sorry that the wicked witch got you MoominGirl :( I'm glad to hear you are going on holiday tho! you deserve it and have a great time!! <3 Hope everyone else is doing well today xx

Moomingirl, they probably would have looked at the width of your uterus during your scan. I had issues in that area and they told me it was too thick at the time. Now it's normal. Similarly they would notice if it was too thin. Good to ask about it though. Hope you have a good holiday....relaxing and having fun sound like a good idea!! xx

This is only our experience and also a lot of ladies report on here report similar but there seem to be lots of things you can do to improve results. When we went to our fertility appointment, the doctor would have had us believe that absolutely nothing can be done. We did have a particularly poor experience at the fertility clinic so much so that if we do go down that road again it will be at a different clinic. If you're not in a rush, trying some lifestyle changes and vitamins certainly can't hurt.

It's been an uneventful week after O, Ive not noticed any signs of implantation or early pregnancy signs. The only thing might be a few twinges here and there, some dull pressure on my right hand side and some period like cramping. Also my skin is breaking out which is a normal AF symptom.

I'm still having a struggle with my wound on my arm and I might have no choice but to take antibiotics. I'm still hanging in there, went to hospital again tonight as now my skin around the wound is becoming irritated because of the dressing. Lol murphies law, eh? I just thank God that I know everything will be ok in the end. Seeing the doc again Tuesday so I'll test then. Should have an accurate result by 11dpo

Laura can you please change my testing date to the 10th? Thanks hun!

Yeah I had the scans at 2 different times in my cycle and the only issue they ever found was the polyp. When they did the hysteroscopy during the surgery again everything else was normal. I think when you think you know what your normal cycle is and then it changes it kinda throws you a bit. I've never had a 2 day AF ever though I think this one might run into a 3rd day. Still very short for me. Usually 5 days bleeding sometimes with spotting after.

I don't plan to have anything but a good holiday. Lots of chill time but also want to get out and explore a bit as well. A holiday is long overdue for us so I reckon the wallets might get rinsed haha!!

Thanks Alexis. Now that I've had the surgery and there's now no physical reason I can't get pregnant, I want to try and get myself into that 1st cycle mindset but it's really really hard. Had a long chat with OH. He doesn't want to give up on us doing it naturally yet which has boosted me a little. I know he's right so I think I'm going to try and find a way to stick with it for another few cycles as I know I need to give my body a chance. The holiday will definitely do us good!

Well that was a weird period. Thought it was fully AF yesterday but it actually never really turned into anything and is all over now.

Maybe I'm going through early menopause? :(
