Just went for a spontaneous dinner out with PP. Weird to think that will be harder soon. And that we've very rarely done it while we can. Had the loveliest evening together and laughed so much

Scotch egg, sounded like a lovely meal with pork pie, its ok till babys about 4/5 mths and awake more you can do meals ok after a feed , just better at lunchtime not evening! So keep going while you can

Morning. Well it's the end of an interesting week which included an overnight stay on the maternity ward

In summary:
Mon clinic baby measuring 8lb 4oz
Polyhydrous on scan.
C section booked on 23rd October
High Bp read and monitored overnight.
Tues finally released from hospital after Bp brought under control.
Wens precautionary GTT as polyhydrous might be caused by gestational diabetes
Thurs spent day with DS catching up on rest as hardly any sleep past few days.
Fri MW check for BP all OK. Started getting some very sharp pains which went on for about 4-5 hours so was hopeful someting might be happening. Had a hot curry and it all stopped!

Yeah 23rd is my due date too. Still holding out a small hope that I'll go naturally before then. Today us the first day that I've felt remotely human since it all kicked off last Mon. Just pottering getting stuff done

Helen-Anne arrived in the world 9 days early on Sunday 6th October weighing 7lbs 12ozs. We have been in the hospital since because she had a bit of an infection but all is fine and we are home now. I will post a birth story later.

How we all feeling??.... Baby very active since last night about 2am lots of kicking and twisting pushing and hiccups and quite achey today can sit up for long periods as I can hardly walk afterwards feels like I have a bowling ball between my legs lol and bit of achey back but not sure it that's cos I'm abit constipated sorry tmi lol

Hi girls...sorry I have been AWOL....I had my baby!!! Freddie George James arrived on 11th October weighing 7lb 6oz. Pretty much everything that could have gone wrong for me did I was induced and it all ended up a bit dramatically in theatre with a forceps delivery. We are both still in hospital - for me, not him. A really traumatic experience in the end if I am honest, but really girls, for anyone who is nervous, it is so so worth it. I didn't think I would get through it, and I did.

I will write my birth story in announcements for those interested.
