Got my last growth scan today. Bit nervous as I'll see the consultant after it and I think will finalise birthing options.

Still not finished my bag. Whoops!

Took delivery of a tens machine, so I'm rocking and rolling on that score.

Think bump has dropped and my pelvis is feeling quite sore and painful with pressure. Now if I could just spontaneously go into labour before 40 weeks that'd be fab

Sooooo spent the night in hospital which pretty much sucks ass. Theyre monitoring my BP after some high reads at the check yesterday. I really just want to go home.

Hope you are OK Ninja Kitty. I had a lovely day today with my NCT ladies, but am having a SHITE evening. OH has had a bad day, and is being an absolute twat, I can't even bear to sit next to him this evening. Really down

Fed up day went to the midwife knowin I haven't really progressed still only 4/5 and now measuring big! She sent me in to be scanned as she said they might not let me go 2 weeks over if he's big. They only checked fluid and wouldn't say if he was big or not as said they wouldn't do anything even if he was so know could potentially be givin birth to a giant

Oh girls, we're not having good days are we!!! OH has apologised now, so I'm feeling slightly less combustable!

Have had so many texts and phonecalls today asking if baby has arrived....no!!

Clairebear, try not to worry - bump measurements are so unreliable, I'm sure there is nothing to worry about. x

I am tryin not to worry but my bump has been fine all the way through last 2 weeks I've turned into a weeble :-/

Ahhhhh Clairebear don't worry. Even scans at this stage are notoriously inaccurate. My son was measured at 9lbs the day before birth but was actually 8lbs when he arrived.

So I got released last night after my bp settled down after they increased my meds. I've only had time to wash the stuff I used, repack my bag and have some dinner before bed. But the least I got a full night in my own bed. Still shattered as I got about 2 hours sleep the night before in hospital.

Anyway the growth scan showed too much water round bubs though not excessively so iykwim. So I've had to come back in this morning for a GTT as a precaution. Baby was measuring about 8lb 4oz on scan so not too bad. He was also put on trace a couple of times when I was admitted and all OK.

As per the plan discussed with the consultant my planned c section has been booked for 23rd October so bubs will be here in 2 weeks unless he decides to make an appearance naturally before then.

Phew! Sorry for the essay. Hope everyone else is keeping well xxx

I think 23rd is when they will take me in to be induced unless he shocks me and makes an appearance before! Glad they r lookin after you tho Hun x

Well I really feel no closer at all to anything happening. Have midwife again tomorrow, I might see if she'll give me another sweep....at least I will see if anything has progressed since last time then!

I've been feeling odd for the last couple of days and today I've woken up feeling completely normal.
I'd started to feel constant pressure like I needed a poo all the time. And I was getting back ache and braxton hicks that were painless. I didn't start getting braxton hicks until about two weeks ago and I've never felt pressure or any indication that the head might be engaged. I was hoping things would maybe progress into real contractions, but nothing happened and now everything is back to normal. I know I'm not due for another couple of days, but I'm seriously thinking that with the lack of signs of labour, it might just never happen and I'll be pregnant forever!!
