Good luck. I'm almost jealous. I did NCT classes first time round and as a result made some really good friends who we see and go on play dates with DS1 regularly. It was such a great boost with the babies being a similar age, early on we'd see each other at least once a week and could compare notes and swap ideas. I hope you get a good group like we did x
Well had a few good results yesterday. Started off the morning in a fug as I tried the get on an NHS antenatal course. Of course the only one available was a week after my due date
but I did manage to book a hospital tour. I'm giving birth in a different hospital this time because the unit I went to last time closed down shortly after I went there. This one has a lot newer facilities so am looking forward to having a gander.Saw MW in the afternoon and everything checked ok. I talked to her about antenatal classes and she crowbarred me into one starting locally on Monday night
I had also contacted our local NCT branch to see if they did any specific courses for women who wanted VBAC. The result was they don't have specific courses but were able to put me in touch with a natal hypnotherapy workshop which has had some really positive results with women wanting VBAC.
I've ordered most of the stuff I need for mine and baby's hospital bag plus the essentials you need early on. Most of it should arrive today. And we finished yesterday with a flying visit to Ikea to get the storage unit I need so I can organise baby's stuff. Hopefully a week from now I will be in a good position for when baby arrives. Now all we need is a name......

Well I am pleased to say I appear to have a lovely NCT group. They are all nice, normal people, no crazy earth mothers
we all had a good laugh, learnt plenty and OH didn't embarrass me too much with his sense of humour. Not sure if I feel more or less worried about birth now!

So I washed and ironed all my clothes from newborn to 0-3 and all the bedding and put it away. So should my spud arrive sooner than expected hell have something to wear and a nice fresh bed to sleep in.

This is all becoming very scary now, there is a big chance my babies will be born this month!! Eeek! I predict 10th October tho xx
