*** October 2015 Mummies ***

I hope all the mummies and babies are doing well in here.

I'v not posted much. I have been struggling with things a bit over my babies gender - horrible and selfish I know. But I'm slowly getting there. Hubby has even let me buy a new pram to help me. I feel so pathetic. I know I'll love her, I just long of holding my baby boy.xx

I was totally gutted too when i found out i was having a boy
Within a few weeks i was over it and now i just can't wait to kiss his wee face
Its not selfish though
itll all be irrelevant anyway when you see her and hold her in your arms x

I'v done some research into it and was really surprised at how common it is, yet still a taboo subject.

I know I'll be delighted and so in love with her, I am already. I think I just have the desire for the 'perfect' family.

Loving the 4D pics!! how gorgeous!! :) and nearly Tri 3 for some of you ladies!! the board will go up in the next few days :)

Laura, nothing is taboo here, this is the place you can talk about these things! :)

Thank you sweetheart. I'm getting there now. I think we will book a 4D scan soon. I love the pictures.xx

Holy Moly!! I'm down to 99 days!!! January mummies thread has arrived in Tri2 which means nearly time for our Tri3 move! How quickly has this Tri went. 2 are off to Tri3 at weekend with another 3 of us next Tue!!

Tri3 is scary, have you seen the threads in there, labour etc arrggg!! Excited!!

Laura, hope you can bond a bit better with your baby girl and i have no doubt you love her with all your heart already, dont be too hard on yourself :) xxx

Shelly, congrats on double digits yippeeeee!!

Tri 3 should be fun, can't wait to start discussing green plugs, false labor signs and general feeling big topics

Laura I told my hubby I was looking forward to labour & he looked at me like I was nuts haha!!!

Thanks Karolina! Yeah I know, exciting & scary, it means I need to get organised!! Xx

Cant believe how quickly our pregnancies are going! Only brought one thing so far!

Some of you ladies must be getting very close to third trimester!

Hope your ok Laura, I'm on my 4th pink bundle so no little boys for us x

I must say we are actually pretty organized! The only things needing bought are the car ISO base, clothes and toiletries for the baby and for my hospital bag.

I am very excited for Tri 3 but at the same time more anxious than I've been in Tri 1 and 2 put together! x

I'm okay thank you. I feel very silly for how I'v been feeling, but my feeling have been very real. My hubby has a son from his 1st marriage, I guess I'm just longing for that bond. Very silly of me.

I need to do a list of what we need. We have the maxi cosi family fix base and pearl which my daughter is in now and will be until she's 4. But this car seat can't be belted in, so I think we need to buy another isofix base for the babies car seat. An expense we never thought about!

The expenses seem to be pilling up! Having babies is not cheap ;)

I think I need to start getting things sorted, you forget our quickly things add up, will start buying the essentials - haven't really been out looking at prams and car seats yet x

It does add up so quickly! We won't need everything as its baby no.2 but I want to replace things I bought previously that was rubbish.

Labour seems too far away
I'll worry about it later
I've got far too much to do first before he comes lol
I'm so tired after work that I only really get weekends to do stuff

Ladies.... today i sneezed ... and some pee came out
We must do our kegals! !

anyone else suffering in this heat. House is a sauna and work has no air con at the moment!

Gail, can't say I've sneeze-pee myself yet but who knows!!

Barbara, I live in Scotland and will take the heat over rain and wind anytime! Hope the weather cools down for you a bit x

I've noticed that my fingers and wrists are slightly swollen in the morning. Nothing major but I can see by looking at my watch and rings... And last night when I sat down after having a shower my toes seems a bit swollen too?!
Anyone else experiencing this? x

Karolina, I get this at the end of the day - my ankles are really bad. But worth mentioning to midwife when you see her next. Drink lots of water and try to put your feet up when you can :) x
