I did actually mention the fingers and wrists to her last time and because it wasn't a major swelling she didn't seem concerned. I will mention it again at my next appointment this time with the consultant.

Hot weather is not good for pregnant ladies! Same here, no air con at work Yesterday was awful, I ended up working a 14hr day with no breaks as 2 members of our 7 doctor team are off on holiday and 2 called in sick. And we had the busiest day since the winter months, arg! I came over really weird and wobbly by 6pm, as had only managed to get some water through the day. Home at 9pm and missed seeing my LG
I don't really know what I can do though, as I'm on duty again tomorrow and if my colleagues stay off sick I'll be the only one there!

I love the heat, but it's when it's muggy that I start to struggle. I think that it doesn't help that I don't have a lot of suitable summer maternity stuff. Most of my stuff is tight or is maternity but with a thick waistband.

Had my MW appt on Monday and everything is going well. I really cant wait to get to Tri 3, think it will all start to feel real then.....

Unfortunately there is no "they", I'm in a partnership, so I guess I am they! Yes, we do try to get sick cover, but there is such a chronic shortage of docs now, can't get anyone short notice to locum. Everyone is booked up for weeks in advance if they locum.

Petchy, 12deg is rubbish, hope it warms up soon for you.

I must admit Gail, my bladder has felt on the brink today a couple of times. I'm sure the baby has been mashing his head into it all day

I caved & went bought 2summer dresses & pair of shorts in H&M this evening, I was just melting! Same here no ac in work & house is like a sauna. Had to borrow fan off the inlaws for our little girls room as it was so hot & she just would not settle, finally got her down at 9:30pm, she usually goes down at 6:30pm!
No peeing my pants yet but I really need to do more kegels too.

I've got a couple of maxi dresses and they are great, I do get a bit of chub rub tho so gotta make sure I'm powdered up lol!

I must say I am enjoying the heat at the moment (mind you, I live in Scotland where hot=20 degrees)

I never bought a doppler but have a stethoscope at home and will try and see if the heartbeat can now be heard x
