*** October 2015 Mummies ***

I am seeing my midwife on Wednesday and will definately ask her to check my weight so I can compare to what it was at my previous appointments. I definately put some on but it doesn't feel like a lot... not to me anyway

Planning to start swimming from Monday, hope to manage 2 days a week!

Makes me wonder what my true weight is minus baby fluid placenta extra blood etc x

Hi all :)

Barbara sorry to hear about the placenta, but it sounds like your in good care.

Carrie the first movements are lovely, won't be long until hubby feels it too.

Gail I feel I've lost weight off my sides , no idea of my weight gain thoughts I've not been weighted, I'll ask MW on Thursfay to weight me. My belly looks like a baby blonde hairy monkey haha!!!

V day today for Karolina & Shona xx

V day is viability day, the day you turn 24 weeks. Babies can survive outside of the womb from 24 weeks. Obviously you don't want bubs to arrive this early, but it's nice to know they could potentially survive from this point. I'm hoping for a well done bubs this time round. Today is my V day! X

Congratulations on having a little boy Georgesmum :)

Petchy, I am drooling at the knitting your mum did! they are the cutest things I've ever seen. I haven't knitted in about 20 years but would love to give it a go. My mother in law has already made two matinee coats (basically a cardie) and I think there might be a few more bits being made as well!

Mrs S my tummy is hairy too, my husband was laughing at it saying it's keeping the little man warm! at least he doesn't seem to fussed about it :)

Can't believe its v day tomorrow :)

I've got a week off work this week. Jess is in nursery mon to wed whilst I get our house vaguely sorted out. We've regressed into piles of crap everywhere. I'm going to catch up on some CPD too this pm. Then Thurs I am off to my parents for a long weekend.... ahhhh!!!

Work has been crappy. I've got 11 weeks when I go back to get through, then its mat leave!

No hairy belly here yet, but I did get one last time, so I suspect its on its way.

I'm really struggling with mood swings this time too, not sure if its because this time its a boy? I feel incredibly angry at times, cried every day last week. This in combination with feeling like I could eat everything in sight like a pacman .

I know Fliss, V Day tomorrow for both of us, obviously i REALLY dont want my baby to come yet (or for the next 16 weeks in all honesty), but it feels like a small milestone.

As it stands just now i still have 15 weeks to work .....

My mood swings have been ok, not really had any (maybe hubby would disagree), the pacman style eating now i that i can relate too!! haha! xx

14 weeks left for me before I can start maternity... seems aaaaaaaaaaaaaages away

I am not a moody person normally but since the start of Tri 2 I noticed I get annoyed way to quick and have no patience at all :oooo:

Wooohooo for your Vdays tomorrow, it is a big milestone! We shall be reaching the double-digits milestone soon!! And then we are only a step away from Tri 3!!!! Ok... I am getting carrie away, better stop now

Hey ladies! all good here, apart from a 7yo that thinks bed time is for wimps! so I am shattered today!! grrrr. He is usually really good these days, but his birthday is looming so excitement took hold and that was that!

On the bright side, the weather is warm and I have 5 weeks until my first little holiday :) xx

Congratulations on all the V Day's! :)

When do you class Tri 3, I class myself as IN week 22 as I am 21+ but I know to some people they would class that as week 21?

Hope the wee monkey sleeps better today and lets his mummy rest :)

I think you normally move to Tri 3 when you reach week 27 x

Happy V day Shelly and Stacey

I'm celebrating by sorting out baby clothes from the loft. I've got 2 massive bags full of gorgeous girls clothes though that will need a good home. If anyone is close to Guildford and fancies them...??

At least I have a fair bit of boys and neutral stuff that people gave me last time to use. I have completely forgotten how weeny and cute the little vests are :).

And on my ticker I'm a melon, and feel like it!

Happy Vday, Fliss! Have fun sorting out the adorable clothes :)

I am planning to drag hubby to next after our 26 week scan to buy some clothes. Hope he cooperates

Hey ladies and happy V day to Shelly and Fliss too x it's reassuring to know isn't it and we are hitting these milestones no problem :) Next one is 27 I think isn't that the start of tri 3? I'm feeling my little girl moving all the time now all throughout the day esp after food and can see my belly moving too...my o/h has felt her for a while very cute.

I'm feeling brighter this week but I have to say It's been horrible at times with fluctuating moods, It's like a silent pneumatic drill going off with the tension....anyway I won't dwell on that now having a good day today sorting bits out in the garage and making plans to sort out the nursery and my little girls room..might aswell do them both - taking full advantage of nesting. Hope you are all feeling well xx

Ps is anyone else doing this 'live well' scheme...I think because I measured as overweight I'm eligible to get a free consultation and plan for losing a little weight, fitting more exercise in ..I don't think I'm too badly educated with healthy living but sticking to a routine, finding the motivation to exercise and feeling tired all the time are things I could work on so I'm giving it a go (it can't hurt) - got to meet with a health practitioner on Thursday. I'm still doing the yoga too really nice and relaxing

Happy Vday, Stacey!

Do you do yoga at home or take classes? Gosh, I really find it hard to move my butt!! I take a brisk walk after lunch (15mins) and that is it at the moment! Starting swimming this Thursday (if I can be bothered?!). I was going to attend yoga class once a week but these are so expensive here! £10 per lesson... There is loads of videos on youtube, I wonder if I could try that? x
