*** October 2015 Mummies ***

Oh no sorry to hear about your placenta, on the bright side extra scans means more times to see baby again :) and even perfectly placed placentas can end up with cesarean births xxxxxxx

I'm having my 4th section! Hope your ok- sometimes the placenta moves up x

That sounds uncomfortable Gail, I'm carrying low and it feels like baby bouncing on my bladder x

My mum has been knitting :)

Wow Petchy your mum is a knitting machine lol she's knocked those out quick and such beauties too!!! I started my blanket at 12 weeks, I'm still only on row 4 lol just feel too tired and sick to pick it up again!!! Will be a frantic knit to get it done in time at this rate!!!!!

Hi ladies,

Sorry I've been missing lately. Hope you're all well.

Congratulations on your blue bundle Georgesmum and sorry your placenta is being awkward.

Petchy - I love your mum's knitting! You're so lucky! Lovely pram too.

We've got our scan tomorrow morning! I'm so excited! This is a new experience for me having stayed team yellow last time. This is my bump today - anyone fancy a guess?

xx

She really is - and she's knitted those things in like a MONTH - plus she's knitted other stuff in that time too, clothes for my niece and a jacket for herself, plus some gifts for others in the family!!!

Georgesmum, sorry to hear your placenta is being an ass, hopefully it moves up later x

MrsV, lovely bump! Good luck with the scan today! I say it's a boy but I am really rubbish at guessing so it is probably a girl

Just been in tears reading the leaflet the hospital gave us about the placenta. It sounds a bit scary and I was already an emotional wreck this morning!

Babara you poor thing :( try not to focus on the leaflets they are all dreadful, they have to give you every scenario. But the fact that they have identified it now is brilliant, means they can keep an eye on you and if you need to deliver him through section then you will be all prepared for that too :) big hugs xx xx xx

AMAZING!!! It took me 5 months to knit my hubby a jumper lol!!! I might have to post her my blanket to finish off for me lol

Oh no I can't imagine :( I hate leaflets they always sound so bad especially when already emotional as it is. Have you got any apts with mw or anything soon where you can discuss how your feeling and maybe get them to put your mind at ease xx

I literally can't believe I've managed to stay team yellow for this long!!!! Everyone said we'd crack at the scan yesterday as we are so impatient lol!!

It's the weirdest feeling not knowing!! With my son i planned and bought everything around knowing he was a boy! Although this time I'm struggling to think of the baby as real because it has no gender but it's so exciting!!!!

I have a consultant appointment on 24th June so I guess we will go through it all then.I am terrible for panicking!

It's hard not to though isn't it!!! Something about pregnancy that's so bloody precarious that everything feels like a panic especially when you actually have been given a reason!
Hopefully the consultant will put your mind at ease when you see them. Maybe post in the birth bit of the forum and see if anyone has had the same thing and how it worked out for them? X

They will be monitoring you mega closely & will plan a section if they feel you need it. I had an emergency c section last Time & it wasn't half as bad as I imagined it would be, I'm sure other ladies on the forum will have experience of this. Big hugs, it's so hard not to worry & panic at everything when ur pregnant xxx

Sorry about the placenta
Not sure whats happening with it exactly but hopefully itll cause no issues

I might need to buy tenna ladies and tonic water
Between nearly peeing myself from having my bladder kicked and cramps in my calves... its laughable really xx

Hi everyone, sounds like it's all kicking up a gear for everyone of late.

I've been MIA this week as it's been my OH's 30th birthday and I felt my first kicks yesterday on his birthday which was brilliant! Shame it wasn't quite hard enough for him to feel though.

Haven't been to the gym since Monday and am feeling very lazy and guilty. Trying desperately to keep active throughout but everything going on has meant it's not been possible this week. Going to christen my maternity swimsuit on Tuesday, should be fun!

Petchy I've been given some knitted cardigans this week too, they're so cute! !

I was doing well until 18 wks when we were on holiday and since then I put about half stone on, feel so huge- going try and eat better after the weekend. I did well keeping the weight off and don't want to go back to bad habits x
