*** October 2015 Mummies ***

I have an anterior placenta too and haven't felt anything yet, at least not that I'm aware of.

I'm really hoping I feel something soon, looking forward to that!

First time out I felt nothing till 22weeks, this time I felt detonate movement around 19weeks, but changes daily, sometimes baby moves lots & other times I could go few days & feel barely anything, so try not to worry! Had my anomaly scan today & all looks well. Decided to stay team yellow, but think I may have glimpsed something on scan which gave it away! Still I'm no sonographer so I could be mistaken!

OH felt the baby kick today for the first time, he was so happy! :yay:

Hey girls. Not 100% good news today. Baby looks fine, but there are lots of small clots in my placenta. They know I have a clotting problem and I'm on aspirin and heparin already. The dose of heparin is going up so twice daily jabs now :-(
They're going to scan me every 2 to 4 weeks now.

The positive signs are the baby is growing well and very active so clearly getting everything they need for now but the idea that this might still go wrong is terrifying me.

Flisstebbs so sorry to hear you have complications. Obviously bubs has gotten everything they need so far which is good news & they will obviously be monitoring you very closely so will pick up if anything is effecting bubs. I had to visit pre term labour clinic lots in my first pregnancy & they were very positive that if you get to 28 weeks of positive outcome for baby, that's only really 8 weeks away, try to stay positive, I know it's really hard. Sending you hugs xxx

Sorry to hear that Fliss x But as Sharmon said they will keep an eye on you and the baby and won't let anything bad happen x

Fliss, sorry to hear this :( but glad baby is OK and that they are keeping a nice close eye on you. It is amazing what they can do these days :)

I am the proud Auntie to my little Nephew born at 27 weeks on Thursday last week, both mum and baby are doing well, and they knew he was going to come early so had time to prepare both of them. He is tiny tiny, but growing every day :)

Gosh fliss, that news must've put you off kilter. The jabs won't be nice but you'll get more used to them as time goes by. And it'll be worth it, I'm sure. Isn't it great that they see these things nowadays, I often marvel at the wonders of modern medicine. Of course you know all this as you're a dr yourself :)

Sending you lots of hugs and positive thoughts x

Hey Fliss sorry to hear that, however they will keep a good eye on you & the baby!

My '2nd' part of my 20 week scan is next Friday, hopefully the baby is playing ball this time :)

Hope everyone is feeling well, im starting to see wee tiny movements from the outside (Hubby hasnt seem/felt baby yet & hes not happy ) xx

Oh flisstebs sorry to hear that, but it sounds like they have a good plan for you and baby and the extra monitoring will hopefully catch anything before it becomes a problem. You aren't massively far off that safe zone where they could get baby out early if they had to, and as you say baby has done grand so far. I'm on 2 injections of heparin a day it's not pleasant as it's twice the bruising and stinging but if you're already used to one a day you'll be fine and worth it for a bit of peace of mind :) xxxx

I hate coming on here to moan especially as others are having issues of their own, but I've just spent the last 10mins crying. I feel so useless at the moment with this sickness  I've had a particularly bad week struggling with energy levels and vomiting. I know I moan about it a lot but I just want to feel normal and not a burden on my family :( my mum has a bad back and I had to beg her to take my son this aft as I just couldn't look after him. My poor hubby has to finish work early again go pick our son up and sort tea out for himself again.
They are all taking it with good grace especially my hubby considering he works full time, cooks most of our meals at the moment, tidies the house and cares for our son. I just wish I could repay the favour and look after them instead of lying here feeling rotten

Aww Bunnykins I really hope you feel better soon, im sure you're hubby doesn't mind :hugs: xxx

Bunnykins sending you big hugs, in my first pregnancy, week 18 was first week where I didn't vomit every day, it got dramatically better after that. Fingers crossed sickness will subside soon x

Bunny and fliss... sorry things aren't going too ideally atm!

I go home today
A bit bittersweet
Had a lovely time. The climate is lovely. No stresses
I am looking forward to seeing my mum, cats and the dogs but not so looking forward to the laundry, decorating and going back to work on Monday

So I've booked a 4d scan on 28th June, hopefully we can get a nice shot of the face and also have the gender re-confirmed

Chilling in hotel with OH and DS, going for a 3D scan tomorrow :D I feel MASSIVE now, only 20+3 and can't remember feeling this STUFFED so early last time, despite being big then too. I feel like I can't breathe normally anymore!
