*** October 2015 Mummies ***

Last day at work today and off we got on holiday for a week!! Going to visit my mom since she hasn't yet seen my pregnant belly :) Looking forward to having some relaxing time alone with OH and my family

The only thing I'm not looking forward to is driving 2.5hrs to Edinburgh starting the journey at 2.30 am!! Stupid early morning flights :trouble:

Fab bump pic. I'm about the same size as u. 17+1 week today. Just heard baby's heartbeat as well so exiting. Phew it's still alive in there ha ha :)

I took a half day today
I had an appt to get my bloods done at 11 for my thyroid and i thought... I've way too much to do at home before we go away tomorrow (we're having a week in Menorca) so have been constantly on the go since getting in... im just in a bubble bath now as we speak cos im totally pooped!

I'm actually really quite proud of myself actually
Since getting our bfp I've been too ill and tired and weak to do much of anything...
Hubby had to totally take over with all chores
Although after my efforts today it's been evident hes done the bare essentials lol...
Cooking, dishes and laundry (only washing and drying though!)

I done several laundry loads including changing the bedding
Hoovered top to bottom
Dishes
Mopped
Polished
Hung EVERYTHING up
Tidied most things away
Cooked a batch of chorizo and pepperoni pasta bake for my mum to go in her freezer
Sorted the clothes in drawers and lying in the bottom of the wardrobe
Bathroom was cleaned fully which it badly needed
My house smells instantly so much better / fresher

So considering I've managed nothing in over 3 months... im really chuffed!

I haven't packed yet mind you....
Although I did clean the mud and fur off the cat flap door lol. Priorities eh??

Bloody hell MrsS sounds like you've got some of that tri2 energy and nesting urges, go you!!!! Oh and enjoy your hols :)

I think really I just couldn't go away with the house such a shit tip lol

Hey we have had our scan and everything is fine - it's a girl!:pink:

She is busy doing some yoga moves in the pic haha

Brilliant Stacey!! Glad it went well!! & congratulations on your pink bundle

My scan went well too, couldn't get a picture because of the way the baby was lying lol! To go back in 1-2 weeks as they couldn't check 2 valves on heart due to position & shadow from my belly button lol! Could check heart chambers & 4 of them looks good :) xx

Awr sounds like you have a healthy baby but too comfy hehee...my scan nearly went that way! but luckily very patient staff, she hurt her wrist pressing down so much to get my girly to move position. You'll get to see your baby again in a couple of weeks yay! Are you having a boy or a girl? x

Congrats Shelly and Stacey! Finally a girl to join my little one wooohooo

Haha! Nope baby was moving tonnes, it just kept it's back to the sonographer Lol! No idea Stacey, staying team Yellow :) xx

Congrats on the girl, Stacey! Have added a pink bundle icon to the list :)

My little one seems to enjoy trampolining. On my bladder. All. Evening. Ouch.

19+3 - feels smaller somehow - possibly my intestines have arranged themselves in a tidier manner :p

Congratulations on the scans everyone, and well done for joining team pink Stacey. Lovely news.

Petchy, I'm with you on the bladder front....

Had a rubbish week at work, feel so tired today. Took Jess to a new garden centre that's opened near us this morning, fab stuff with loads of animals, you can feed chickens and all sorts. She's flaked out now, hopefully for a couple of hrs and I can pot my new flowers :) I know how to live it up on my day off!!!

Enjoy bank holiday all those who are off. x

Tip for those of you who also have that little saggy bit at the bottom of the bump - I used a maternity support belt to keep it in place and avoid chafing, and it worked a treat - but now I've found some super comfy over-bump maternity knickers at H&M that are even better! Love them!

I asked mum yesterday about stretch marks when she was pregnant with me as apparently these are genetic. She said she never had any! Bonus! But... she also told me that she put on 23kg (3.6 stone) while pregnant

Hi everyone, so exciting we're now pretty much all at the second scam, only 2 more weeks for me to wait; argh!

I keep listening to baby using my doppler, it's lovely. Using it to lull myself to sleep at night lol.

I've had to organise my wardrobe and put almost all of it into storage. I did this a couple of months ago and it made me feel sad, but this time I'm excited; is really happening now!

Hi ladies

My holiday is going swimmingly
Im tiring easy though
Thankfully no sickness etc and can eat again yay!

I think i turned 18 weeks and sprouted
I can no longer suck my gut in lol

Glad you're holiday is going well Mrs S! Really happy that the sickness is subsiding...you had a rough start!

Congrats on team pink Stacey! :)

4 more sleeps until our 20 week scan! Just starting to feel quite anxious now. Baby is very active now though and my bump is growing by the day.

Just put little man to bed and time to unwind now...have had a lovely three days off with him. Can't wait for maternity so that I get to spend another 10 months to a year with him. Eek xx
