Hi ladies, still waiting to feel movement, I'm so impatient! I was told it might take a little longer as the placenta is to the front for me which is a little annoying!

Had a stinking cold the last 4 days, felt really sorry for myself yesterday so ordered a doppler and it arrived this morning! Had a little play and its so lovely. It's mainly for my OH to be honest, he's heard it from a video on my phone already, but I think this is something else.

20 week scan was 3 weeks yesterday, I'm getting impatient for it now! We've both decided we are staying team yellow now,so I'm happy with that.

I downloaded one of the gender prediction apps for fun, what a load of rubbish! They're all different, I know they won't all be the same, but you'd think there would be some sort of pattern!

Got a sudden craving for salt and vinegar crisps! And they're not easy to come by in the shops over here... Hmmm. May have to go hunting for some!

Carrie, I have an anterior placenta too. Have felt movement for a few weeks - but nothing like with my DS. And depending on how baby is positioned, I can go days without feeling a thing still. I reckon it's when he/she is legs down that I can feel it, as I only feel it really low down. I have a doppler though, which is nice and reassuring when I haven't felt any movement in a few days!

My 20 week scan is not til 11th June (day b4 OH birthday) It just seems so far away.

I'll be 20w+5!
I'll have them reconfirm its a boy lol

My placenta is bang in front too
I've not felt a sausage!
Although i can hear banging when the dopplers on! X

Ours is a week Friday - a morning one which is brill!

I have been fancying a cone of chips from the chippy with 3 scoops of curry sauce since about 11 weeks.

I WILL have it soon!!!

Sorry for being intermittent lately...we're really busy in work at the mo and by the time I get home, put toddler to bed and then eat, it's time for bed. Cant wait for the nesting to start....we have our house up for sale at the moment so I'm torn whether to decorate another nursery or just wait until we move - little one will be in with us for the first 5-6 months anyway. xx

You could make some? Slice potatoes very thinly and deep fry in vegetable oil. Then smother in salt and malt vinegar!
