Hey hope everyone's well. We brought Hunter Xavier home last night & he has been good as gold since. Trying to get back into a routine with our daughter as she's had a few late nights and has been a little naughty today which when you're in pain and tired is the last thing we need lol
Who knew 'after pains' were a thing?? I'm getting contractions that are so painful. x
We're waiting to be discharged! Baby gave us a bit of scare yesterday with her oxygen levels, should be 98-100% and hers kept dipping to 85-87 so she spent a couple of hours in HDU to be monitored but it picked back up and hasn't dropped since.
Hey girls!
Well last night (tmi sorry) I had a lot of snotty discharge when wiping
Not sure if this could be the plug?
Also a lot of pains stabbing and pressure down below
But nothing this morning
I'm Due Wednesday so only 2 days ...hope its a good sign
Did you get home Mayflower? Hope little one is okay now. They know how to frighten us! This one has a tiny hole in his back (luckily turned out not to be serious after 5 worrying hours waiting for the ped and the midwife mentioning spina bifida!)
Nothing seems to be moving yet following sweep, so far. I didn't want to go in with the mindset that it would work though. If you're prepared for it not to do any difference then you can't really be disappointed can you?! She did offer me another one next week though which I'll take and said we can talk about arranging an induction for 7 days over. So it's exciting to be talking about these things cause it means it really is any time now! I keep wanting it to be 'tonight' but so far all of these 'tonight's have got me nothing so far haha. Xx
This very last stage of pregnancy is so annoying. I want him to hurry up!
Every slight pain and I’m like OMG IS THIS IS?! And then... it’s not..
I also can’t accept any work at the moment because I could go any moment, but thankfully everyone who has offered work has been very considerate and told me they’ll put it on hold until I’m ready
I didn't think you could have it til due date tbh so was quite surprised when she offered me one! I wouldn't turn away anything that may help though so thought why not, it's only gunna get worse haha.
Yeah I think it's a specific practice/area thing. A girl who is 4 weeks behind me heard her baby's heartbeat from around 16 weeks I think but my midwife wouldn't do it until after around 20+ weeks. And our GP's were only across town so that was just a difference between the practices. Xx
Just the area policy for second pregnacies.
I can obviously ring her if any concerns etc. But I dont have an appointment until the 18th November...eek. Fingers crossed she arrives.soon tho lol
