November Mummies! <3

Yep my shifts are 11-5 and can't really start any earlier because they'd be paying me for nothing as I'm not needed. So unless I'm willing to do longer shifts, split shifts or more of them, I'm pretty much stuck at those hours which isn't all that great either so my wage is limited. Xx

I'd love to sleep until 8:40 everyday haha usually little one gets up around 7:30 bug sometimes it's 8 :)

My alarm is set for 5:30 work days :(

Won't be long till we're all up all hours of the night! Lol

I was looking for jobs just before we conceived and then obviously couldn't leave. Once I go back to work I'll be looking again for 'proper' jobs xx

Really starting to feel it today, tomorrow morning is my appointment at the breast clinic. :( Could really do without it at 32 weeks pregnant but hey!

Hope you all have a nice day! X

It'll be worth it in the end, 3 years on & our house still drives me nuts not being finished. plus I've just seen a gorgeous house up for sale I've fell in love with. Don't think OH would appreciate any more stress tho lol x

Well the dreaded day is here. Hopefully I'll be on here later with good news. X

Good luck today starchild xx

So have been thinking loads about my last birth and been feeling very anxious and stressing about it ( was super traumatic, and left me with horrific flashbacks etc, which took ages to get over), so have decided that I am going to ask for an elective section rather than trying for a VBAC. Which means that I could be having my baby in 7 weeks!!

Xx

Thank you Emmajaine. Just got back & fortunately the consultant said it's nothing to worry about. Although I'd have liked an ultrasound it wasn't necessary obviously. So I can settle now.

Oh dear I hope you have a better experience this time. 7 weeks is when I'm due! I'm due October 30th :) xx

Glad it's all OK!

Thanks, I'm hoping that going for a planned section will take away the stress and anxiety about it all happening again (one of my fears is having a complete repeat of last time, which logically I know is unlikely to happen, but fears ain't logical!!) and so a better birthing experience that I can actually look back on and remember, as I can't remember seeing my LG for the first time, hearing her cry, holding her etc.

Can't believe how quickly time is passing, feel so unorganised this time! Still its exciting to think our babies could be here in less than 2 months!!

Xx

Same. I'm actually starting to get really stressed out now. :(

And to make things worse we've no childcare for the week after next whilst OH & I are at work for 3 days.

I need to sell my pram before we can buy a new one which is another stress. Then I've got our wedding invites to address & send out & the flower girl & page boy proposals to make which is adding to my anxieties. Plus all the work left to do in the house which isn't getting any further.

It all just makes me want to sleep until this time next year.

33 weeks tomorrow! I've managed to wash the baby clothes we have and sort them into tiny baby/first size/0-3 etc but that's about as prepared as I am!

We're finally in the new house, just lots of sorting and tidying to do but we're off on holiday tomorrow! Then the sorting and washing of baby stuff can commence!

Although, I definitely feel like my bump has dropped a bit, she feels much lower, and my hideous indigestion has totally gone. But now I feel like she's right in my bits, and I had to get up 3 times last night for a wee!

Hi everyone, its been a bit crazy with summer holidays and the school starting but hopefully it will settle next week and I can starts getting ready. I have the carseat and most of the bigger things but still need a bouncer and I want a bedside crib. Dont have any toys either as gave everythibg away lol

Morning ladies. A little tired today after going to support my husband during the Great North Run yesterday. As soon as he walked off to head to the start line I burst into tears, so proud of him! I must have cried about 6 times. We must have walked around 8 miles or more just supporting to and from the start, back to the car, walking to the finish to meet him (as we couldn't park any closer than 3 miles away), and then back again!

Have my 31 week app this afternoon straight from work. Xx

Good to hear others aren't prepared too!

I'm not back at midwife until next Wednesday when I'll be 34 week & feel like I haven't been in ages considering I'm supposed to be having regular blood pressure checks.

I've got my swab to test for strep B to take with me. Kinda hoping it shows so I'm guaranteed antibiotics in labour, just don't want to risk it. :(

Been full of cold all week.. unable to go to the gym which is a bummer.. I get a bit stressed when I can't make it to the gym.. we did a 10km walk on Friday, I thought I was better but the next day I just felt like crap again.. Never had a cold for this long before!

I've ordered a cabin sized suitcase for my hospital bag, that's acceptable right? I have a tendency to overpack and don't want them thinking "Look at princess Tara coming with her suitcase" lol. I know i know, who gives a crap what others think..

When should I start packing the bag? And when do I start washing baby clothes etc.. I could do it now but don't want to do it too early? If that can be a thing lol.

Have a lovely week xx
It's starting to get cold af here in Sweden, the heating has officially been turned on!

I've seen plenty of ladies with suitcases on one born every minute. Last time I found 2 bags was enough, a bag with my things in & a separate changing bag for the baby things, (which isn't much really nappies, a sample of sudocrem & a few outfits & muslin cloths) also a carrier bag for dirty clothes (I had a lot of blood stained items ugh) just to keep them away from clean clothes.

They say to pack around 34 weeks but I didn't pack last time until much later. And I overpacked loads

I've started washing baby things & putting them away just to make the most of the last of the sun. Saves on the dryer but I've still got loads to wash.

Don't think you can pack too early tho think about what may happen if you go into labour early. I'm gonna start packing when we get back from our weekend away next week. Starting to feel real now.... xx
