*** November 2014 Mummies! ***

Poor little man :-( will definitely be holding and squeezing my little girl tighter at bedtime! You never know what's around the corner :-( xx

Oh thats horrible, unexpected just makes it even hard to handle.

I think I'll have sorted most of the baby stuff by end of August. Then get the last bits in sep/oct. So I can try and sort all the Christmas shopping in November before baby arrives.

So sad about your friend niknac. My cousin is currently undergoing chemo for the same thing my aunty is trying to raise awearness in how simple a blood test is to determine lukimia. It really is a simple fast blood test that some drs don't even bother with they just fob people of with virus's. If your child is taking a long time to recover from a cold or flu or has bruising or a rash that won't shift don't hold back demand that simple blood test it could same their life. My cousin is doing so well.

Hey girlies, I'm so sorry I've been off here for a while, got loads to catch up on....I've been working two jobs and quite honestly I'm absolutely knackered, roll on maternity leave!! Not long lol..only another 15 weeks :( seems ages away!!

Had my 20 week scan today and I can safely say that the baby is healthy and happy and everything is growing perfectly :)
Here's my pic I posted on Facebook to let others no.....and my little munchkin is aaaaaaa.....

Nik nak so sorry to hear such tragic news Huni :( how devastating! Big hugs to you and will keep ur friend and her family in my prayers that they may have the strength to carry on.

Apple I wouldn't leave it that late I'd be worried I'd go in early n not be prepared. We are getting big bits each month so next month getting pram. But then we have to do it sooner as I won't be earning a wage after August :-/

Chick so chuffed for u Huni xxx

Niknak, that's awful, especially how quickly it happened, can't imagine how someone would get over that.

What is it with grumpy sonographers? I seem to have read of loads of them, you'd think they'd try to be a bit more positive for their patients.

Chickadee, congrats on the girl!

I've bought nothing save for a couple of cute outfits. I'm going to start soon though, probably once the summer holidays start. I don't want to leave it until October, especially not the pram, I keep reading about people having delivery delays with them.

Really exhausted today, going to bed soon as I can. I have a busy few days - got a school trip tomorrow and we're going to London for the weekend so it's going to be tiring.

Sounds fab where's ur trip to??
Only 11 more work get ups for me!! :) xxx

Im just assuming i will be late... Soo feel like i will need a project for when on maternity leave...

I think we will by big stuff or start researching next couple of months....and once i know what i want, will wait for a deal and by when ever that happens...i have bought alot of baby clothes in sales and i have a changing bag.

Ahh thats a lovely way to announce it, congrats on being team pink!!

I kind of assume I'll be late too, only got our pushchair so early as there was a good offer on and because I wanted to spread the cost out a little bit.

Getting nervous for my scan tomorrow now, hope baby is healthy and that I don't have a grumpy sonographer.

We're off to the zoo. I love the zoo trip, we take a bunch of our little special needs kids and it's a really good day out. Not a trip where you have to worry about bad behaviour etc, we've got a group of little angels this year. And the best thing is, my boss can't make it. She hates going to see the monkeys and apes because they smell and once we saw some of them having sex! Haha! The monkeys and apes are my favourite bit.

Apple, I'm sort of doing that too - will be looking for what I want, making a list and trying to find deals on them. Especially big things like the pushchair. I liked the Hauck ones that someone (Mellie?) mentioned and they were on sale, but they're not now so I'm going to wait and see if they come on sale again soon.

Dont think it was me.....I have a maxi cosi pushchair, as its one of the only ones that'll fit in my boot.
My sister in law has a lovely Hauck one though, only thing I don't like is how big it is when its folded down. But they all seem to have really good reviews and they're very affordable. Think my SIL's was about £150 for the whole thing (car seat and changing bag included!)

Aw cool I love the zoo!!!

It was me hun. We getting a hauck travel system from adds 256 pounds xx

Ah, it was you Kaa. I must admit, I'm very drawn to the price! It looks good on my spreadsheet! I don't know about folding down, as I'm probably getting a new car and don't know how that's going to go yet. Perhaps I should go and window shop the model of car I'm planning to get, to see the boot.

I'd definitely check out the boot size of any car your thinking of getting. Some of the pushchairs really are huge folded down!
The hauck ones do seem good, all the baby range by them seems quite good to be fair. Plus the additional benefit of none of their stuff being overpriced like some baby products.

Oh Yeh hun defo go check them out for space first. They good price and lovely too plus u can have front or back. Facing option so I like that as not many provide both choices xx

Thanks for all the comments girls :) I had no idea what to do so decided to do it that way haha :) you'll have to give me like half hour too catch up on like two weeks of convos lol...it's shit looking on my phone I can't read it all and comment :))) xxx

Yeah, I like the parent facing option, wouldn't buy one without. The car I want is fairly big, I'm planning to get it because it's a 6 seater with a proper boot but I will still go and look at some. I'm dreading changing cars, I haven't a clue about buying them. I need to sell mine too and it's looking a bit of a disgrace at the moment, so can't decide whether to just go part-ex or try to sell privately for a bit more money. One of the very few times when I wish I had a husband - I think men are less likely to get ripped off with car stuff than women.

I think it's bedtime for me now. Want as much energy as possible for the chimps! And the zoo animals... boom-tish!

Oh yea forgot to say. My manager pulled me aside today to tell me that "HR are concerned about the amount of time off I'm having for pregnancy related appointments."
Im other words, they want to try and scare me into never having time off as they hate paying people when they're not getting work out of them. Tempted to take the piss with them now. Midwife told me I'm entitled to time off for antenatal parent classes and for aquanatal too. Wasn't going to start aquanatal yet, but I think I may just so I get to leave work early one day every week!
