*** November 2014 Mummies! ***

God I wish I could!!! But she has a car so wouldn't leave us alone still and hubby won't move house! We do need a bigger home but won't be anytime soon! We changed the door code on our house to stop her coming round every 5 mins but now she just stands there ringing the doorbell constantly! Unfortunately at the end of the day hubby won't ever back away from his mum with all her illnesses etc

Yea you're kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place really. No nice way of dealing with it

I dunno if it's hormones katie but jeez reading all this is making me really mad lol.

Well I finally blew my top and told hubby.. He threw out that I don't like his family.. I said I don't have a problem with his mum but she's a grandparent and not a parent.. Reminded him of some of the things that she did with our first baby and he reassured me that it will not happen again! He also told me his mum has been saying behind my back she doesn't mind driving to the hospital with our daughter once baby arrives and admitted she will try and pop in and have a sneak peek when she has been told no! I told him I worry if she does it again when I'm in hospital as he doesn't need to be mithered and he said he doesn't care if he has to bollock or fall out with her because our daughter should have the first look before anyone else so fingers crossed it will stop! & he agreed that I wasn't in a "nasty mood" this afternoon and I didn't say anything in a harsh way!

Hopefully it's onwards and upwards now! :D

Good luck Hun. I hope it's a turning point for you and your little family. It's not fair that she seems to be always there. Even when baba is here you guys will have to have time to bond as a family and I hope she respects that. I know from experience that things like this can lead to pnd. So fx she cools off if hubby talks to her. She won't want to fall out with him if there close so hopefully she backs off. Xx

We're having problems keeping SIL at bay. She's been nothing but awful to me from when I got with OH and suddenly now that I'm expecting she wants in and is sending texts to OH, FB requests to me (after deleting me and blocking me before because I posted a swear!) and sending gifts for baby. Nooooooope.

Yeah chaz I must admit when she was round visiting and midwifes and health visitors were here they used to pull me aside to double check if I was okay otherwise I'd be pushed in the corner for his mum to speak about Myah's progress etc! I told him I don't mind her visiting for an hour but if baby's asleep then tough luck I won't be waking him or having people watch over him waiting for a reason to wake him up and he agreed! I just pray that it sticks as I don't want any fall outs when he arrives! Xx

Ahhh good at least he understands where you're coming from then. Hopefully this will be a turning point for you all. :)

Hey girls missed so much tried to catch up as best I could.

Just got to say though Katie I didn't realise she had gone to scan with u it was supposed to be special for ur dad!! What did he say??

Chaz glad cowboys have gone bloody joke.

NJP I want movement!!! What does it feel like??? I have ibs so get lots of twinges cramps n pains so don't want to start thinking it's baby if not but felt weird last few days n bit worried something wrong :-/ xx

Yeah it was but hubby decided last minute to invite his mum.. I did tell him last night he was wrong to do it as she came to Myah's gender scan and it wasn't fair really and he agreed he just wasn't thinking at the time.

Because my dad's a truck driver he works a way all week and I worry if I go into labour and baby's born on a Monday that my dad will have to wait until the Friday to meet his grandson.. I said it wasn't fair for him to just receive a picture message of baby so I opened up and told his mum my worries.. What a surprise all she said was "Skype him".. Why should I Skype him when shewill be round every 5 minutes cuddling the baby? So me and hubby agreed if my dad is working when he arrives and is parked up somewhere local then we will drive to my dad with baby so they can meet!

We did tell his mum at the beginning of this pregnancy that it's my dad's turn to get involved as this is definitely my last pregnancy and with my daughter he really didn't take any notice until she actually arrived.. That's why we took him to the scan so he can see and bond with baby! (Safe to say it worked as my dad was just sat watching in amazement and then asked to keep a photo - just a shame he had to share the experience)

17 weeks pregnant and I'm starting to feel so worn out with his mum mithering constantly! Hoping i get further on she gives me some peace!

How are all you ladies doing? Xxx

Aw such a shame then. I'd have been fuming with oh for that! :-/
That will be nice to meet ur dad though :)

I'm so tired working full time is a killer so glad I'm off this week for a rest. I started to feel better but last 2 days I've felt awful had horrendous headaches to the point I've actually thrown up because of them and I keep getting strange feelings low down which are worrying me a little. Mw appt on Tuesday though so hopefully they will put my mind at rest n give me some advice on coping with headaches :-/ xxx

Nothing worse than being worn out and having stress to add to it. :(.
I'm worn out these days too and my boobs are beck to hurting constantly but at least I'm still ok energy wise and the cleaning is getting done now lol.
Cannot belive I have my gender scan tomorrow. It's so exciting I just can't wait till it's the kids bedtime and I can chill then go to bed early. My husband is working a double today so working from 7 this morning till 3 tomorrow morning. Then he has to drive us to edinburgh for the scan lol. Good thing about it being in edinburgh is he's taking me to krispy kreme lol. Wishing they still did the gender donuts they had for Prince George being born. Would have been awesome to get those for the kids lol.

I think my dad mentioned he would take some time off when I'm due but the problem is we have no idea when he will actually arrive haha! He didn't see my daughter until the next day as she was born late at night so would be nice for him to get cuddles sooner this time!

I'd ask about your iron kaa! Since I was tested and given iron tablets my headaches have gone!

Awww not long to wait chaz! Do you have any ideas on what baby is? The gender donuts sound brilliant! I wanted something fun to announce baby but I'm crap at baking cakes so we just bought a Hershey chocolate bar and coloured in the he or the she part xxx

I've no idea I had a lot of girls vibes to begin with but not so sure now. We are getting 4 black balloons one each for the kids and filling them with either blue or pink glitter/confetti and they have to pop the balloons at the same time.

Thats nice that you'll go and meet your dad with baby when hes born. Im deliberately making my mom feel more involved in my pregnancy as when my SIL was pregnant she didn't want to impise too much.

I was thinking the other day about those Krispy Kreme doughnuts. Wish they still had them!

The balloon idea is lovely chaz! You'll have to take some photos and pop them on here!

What time is your scan tomorrow?

I'm hoping baby arrives at the weekend so my dad can have cuddles soon but only time will tell haha! Xx

It's at 1 but we have to drop kids of at my mums at 11.30 to drive through. Can't wait to be in a team lol.

Well my mam (we haven't been on speaking terms for 4.5 years yet she occasionally contacts me) has officially received my official letter of no contact today (sent it signed for)

Anyone care to join me in the countdown to the volcanic eruption inevitably approaching?

Yeh thanks Katie will see what mw says on tues although now tempted buy some iron tablets from boots or something before hand coz I'm desperate to get rid!! Got glasses today but only for distance so doubt it's actually that causing probe.

Oh dear babyphoenix was that a letter u wrote yourself huni? Xx

Aww good luck chaz! Can't wait to hear what team you are!

Yeah kaa it's best to keep it topped up just incase! I've been taken Asda's pregnancy vitamins as they have everything in them xx
