*** November 2014 Mummies! ***

Must admit I've never tested any of prams for the weight! I've just always got used to them tbh.. Getting used to holding a baby is strange enough as your arm hurts after holding them so much haha xx

Didnt eben think to test it out just saw one i liked online n going to order it. Do we need to have a little test of it first?? Xx

Personally I wanted to test mine out before I purchased it, for size, weight, manoeuvrability etc.
Its such a big purchase I wanted to make sure it was the right one.

Youre right mellie hun. Think i will make sure we can test it out a bit first like check its easy to put up and down and fits in the boot etc. Most places encourage it dont they and get u to try car seat in car too but this pram i want will have to find in a shop to try it coz its on asda direct site for cheapest price so getting it from there. Maybe mothercare will have it in ?! Xxx

Have you got a kiddicare near you? They were one of the only shops that had my pushchair in. What one is it you're after?

Not sure if I should ring my midwife, baby seems to have been barely moving last night and this morning.

Do kick counts, lie on your back or your side (however baby moves most) and count how long it takes for 10 movements... If It takes longer than 2 hours it can signal a problem.

But you're meant to do kick counts from 28 weeks because right now they're not big enough to feel all of their movements.

Mellie, i have a couple of days where i just dont feel baby move and then other days its none stop...i wouldnt worry..hopefully midwife will put your mind at rest..

Hope chickadee is ok? She was in alot of pain last night.

I have been spending all morning looking at prams...very excited they have a new bugaboo bee coming out in september with really nice colours...

She's posted saying she went to hospital and nothing since. Just gonna have to hang on for good news!

I saw that, hopefully she's just sleeping now or something.

Rang the midwife, she said to pop into her so she listened to baby and all seemed ok. He still doesn't seem to be moving much. Only felt him about twice all morning. I assume he's just lying differently.

Must be. Try lying/doing whatever makes him move most. To me lying flat on my back always seems to get her moving. Going in the bath especially!

Lying on my back for a bit, then shifting to the side gets mine moving, it's as if I've disturbed her when I turn over and she has a good shuffle before she gets comfy again! She does it every night before I go to sleep as I lie on my back or my right to read then turn onto my left to sleep and that sets her off.

She seems to end up on my right in the mornings, I often wake to find a hard lump just to the right of my belly button.

Last night, she was having a right wriggle, managing to kick me in both the belly button and bumhole at the same time! God knows what was going on in there!

He's still barely moved all day, think I've felt him twice! I've even had a bit of ice cream which he normally wiggles about after but nothing!
Think he must be lying differently, as my stomach doesn't feel as hard either. Just a bit worrying. Glad I rang the midwife though as I'd be in major panic mode now!

Its a hauck travel system.

Mellie im the same and worrying a bit but i just think at 22+6 its still a bit too soon to be concerned by no movement some days i feel lots n others barely anything but i put it down to placenta. Otherwise id be ringing my mw every other day. Just going to wait til get far enough along to properly monitor movement. Will still keep an eye out for it though and tell mw about my concerns in couple weeks at my next appt.

Xxx

I have an anterior too, so wasn't sure if I should be worried but because I normally feel him loads figured it was best to be safe. I'd be a nervous wreck right now if I hadn't!

Think the hauck is mainly sold online. Which is strange as they're fairly popular.

Hey girlies. Sorry for the late reply to all who have been concerned, had a long night in hospital and came home slept, then went to work just for a few hours, don't no why cause I should be resting...but me being stubborn I can't, so the outcome of my little mini run to the hospital was that there's no infection or anything wrong with Pippa she is very happy inside of me, and placenta was wishing away, I saw Pippa last night in the ultrasound and everything was ok. But omg they stuck some sort of probe in me, that looked like a dildo and opened it so that they could make sure I still had the bit of my cervix closed where baby should come out of lol.
So in the end all it came down to was because I had such bad back pain it was goin through to my pelvic bone, wasn't very nice feeling not to be able to move xxxxxx

Hope everyone else is ok xxxxx

Haha you mean a speculum! Yeah they're not nice are they! Think you get them with smear tests though I've never had one, I had to have swabs with one before because a yeast infection kept coming back, and also I had the same at 17 weeks when I thought I was leaking amniotic fluid. Quite painful :(

Glad to hear everything's okay though.

I know mellie i thought i might help reassure u that i dont always feel movement but i think ur getting more than me anyway.
Getting a few little feelings now though so im glad that baby knows i need some reassurance too hehe.

Ive had that years ago was horrid. At least ur ok huni n baby well :) plus u got a sneaky peek at her too hehe xx

I think I might be the odd one out but ever since I started feeling movement at 17 weeks it's been every day just getting stronger and stronger! She's now so long that if she's lying sideways, when she kicks, her feet come out one end of my belly and her head comes out the other end! Ha ha! And the weird thing is, my placenta is anterior. It's just very high. At my 20 week scan she was like "lets see where your placenta is..." and I told her it's on the back because I was so sure! Weird.

Ahh good glad everything is ok with you both, its always best to be safe. :)

I've had one of those a couple of times, remember one was metal and it was FREEZING!! Not the most enjoyable of experiences.

Baby is finally moving a bit more, I've just eaten so I assume my full stomach has made him move positions or something :)
