*** November 2014 Mummies! ***

Thank you girls!

Can finally enjoy my pregnancy now I feel safer now and huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders!

Anyone already started their baby's Christmas list? :D

Planning to get DD a custom cloth nappy (you can get some GORGEOUS ones!!) and a build-a-bear workshop teddy so far! And a stocking filled with little rattles or whatever. IDK she's my first haha just gonna have to go with it. But I want lots of photos :D

Wish we could start on Christmas list! Myah got a vibrating baby swing/chair thing and a baby bracelet then soft toys and clothes tbh but thinking this time to get little man stuff he can use next year like a walker and stuff!

She slept most of Christmas Day away unfortunately :-(

I'm not planning to buy anything! I was a November baby & my mum said there was no point buying me presents because I was so little. Other people got me little bits, so I had some gifts but she just made sure I had a nice outfit.

I've been getting given a few bits now, step daughter, niece and sister in law have bought me a few little gifts now. I need to find somewhere to store baby's things until the nursery is done.

I'm only planning on getting a few little things for the baby. Not much at all though, and all things I would have got anyway. He's too young to know whats going on, or to even open them. Planning on getting family to give me gift vouchers for him so I can spend them when he's a bit older and needs more things.

Gift vouchers are a good idea, you can keep them until all the stuff you were bought around the time of the birth has been outgrown.

My wife felt the baby move for the first time last night, before that she has always either stopped moving or started kicking more softly when she tried to feel it. But last night the baby kicked her hand a couple of times, it was great!

Does anyone find that sometimes the baby responds when you press on your tummy? If I can find her by feeling for a hard lump, I push lightly on her or rub my tummy over her and get a kick in response. I can't decide whether it's just co-incidence or if she's actually interacting with me.

I find my little man moves more when hubby lies his head on my tummy or gets the Doppler out.

We've also started playing music to baby as well and he kicks away to that too!

Hope you girls have been okay today! We decided to have a family day out to the dog training centre as they had a fun day on and to test the new car out more! First time our pups been near loads of dogs before! She was very well behaved and got to meet loads of other german shepherds! Can't believe how big she will eventually get! DD didn't enjoy it much as there was a dog that constantly kept barking loud and hurting here ears so we only stayed about an hour! Good job really as I was carrying her around and my feet are now sore! :-(

Here's a few photos of our day and my 24 weeks bump!

Hey girlies :) hope everyone's had a good weekend, I swear I'm one of the worse to go off this site then come back on in a couple of days lol!! Now working two jobs, doing three night shifts a week plus a 9-5 job aswell! I'm absolutely knackered!!!!
Happy vday to you Phoenix!
Sorry to here about this chaz, thinking of you :)

I think gift vouchers is a good idea for Xmas, although my partners birthday is on the 10th December, mines on the 11th December and obviously the new arrival, but at least we get to spend our birthday with the best present and that's our little girl who hopefully will arrive three weeks before our birthdays haha!

Absolutely Gawjus dog Katie :) we have an Alsatian and she is a beauty bless her :)

Hope all you girls are starting to feel licks, I'm quite a big girl anyway so I can't really tell where baby is, but I was just laying in the bed and I felt her kick, then I literally tried to keep one eye on my belly and concentrate and I finally saw my belly love a bit! I cannot tell you how happy I am to finally see that!

I'm due 4th November xx

Thank you chaz! Oh my! 2 jobs?!? Hope your managing to rest as well Hun!

Welcome Sophie and congratulations! :D

I literally have no other option yet, it's horrible because I don't want to work 2 jobs but I need the money before I go on maternity leave and it's only for about 3 weeks :/
I try to rest whenever I can and take naps here and there, although I am lucky cause the client I do my night shift with let's me sleep for a few hours once he's gone to sleep and I just set my alarm.

As my mom keeps telling me everytime I mention the baby kicking. "Its not kicking its just moving." Apparently when she was pregnant the midwife kept telling her it's probably babys back or bum she was feeling not feet. So think thats why they respond when you poke them because they're trying to get comfy again! Haha

My baby goes crazy when I play music, and when I eat ice cream!

Katie, your pup is looking lovely! I never thought of playing music to my bump. Though it was treated to a blast of bon jovi in the car the other day, she didn't respond much to that!

Chick, you must be exhausted! Are you trying to save up for the baby coming? Hope you don't wear yourself out too much.

Sophie, welcome! How are you finding pregnancy?

I keep thinking about my Facebook announcement - I still haven't done one yet. I keep putting it off, not sure why, I feel kind of uncomfortable with announcing it. I kknow I should do it, because I'll be wanting to post up about the baby when she arrives but I don't like the idea of telling everyone. Only a few people know on FB, family and two friends. I don't have a big friends list anyway, I keep it strictly to people I like and that's only a few! So it's not like I'd be announcing it to all and sundry.

Such a shame chaz :( hope it goes fast for you hun!

I love playing michael buble to baby!

Our daughter always used to here Elvis in the womb as my dad is a massive fan and now all she ever does is dance along to it so trying to make baby a buble fan! Shame his ears hadn't developed when i went to watch him live haha!

i must admit i never know what part of baby is poking me so i just say hes either jiggling about or kicking me! i do occasionally get the feet in my ribs though! definitely remember that feeling from my daughter!

Had a lot of pulling & stretching pains on the sides of my tummy last night! thought baby might be turning but think hes just growing haha!

Omg christmas!!! I hadnt even thought of it yet!!!

Getting more movements tiday which is good as its day and dont normally feel much in the day and last few days felt barely anything.
Still want stronger feelings so hubby can feel but i blame my stupid placenta!!!

Welcome sophie zx
