Mummies Running Club :D

M2A that sounds good? I did a ten Miler (well 9.55 miles!) on Saturday morning. My longest run that wasn't a race to date so was well pleased. It was a beautiful route along the coast though so that really really helped. Might do a short one tomorrow......I'm getting nervous about Marathon now-It's scary isn't it?! xx

My 10k is on thursday  Training has come to a stand still..... :wall2:

Oh good luck sassy! Don't worry I'm sure you've trained enough as it is! Look after & listen to your body between nw and Thursday mrs! Are you aiming for a time? xx

Well done on your 10miler Rednursie :)

You will be fin Sassy, your not new to running so you know all the signs just listen to your body and enjoy it :)

Ive done my 10 miles tonight, knee felt sore to begin with but gradually eased slightly during the run until i stopped and now its sore! Just going to keep using the 2 i's (ice and ibroprofen) and hope for the best x x

Great stuff M2A! I did 5 miles this morning-Now feeling like a proper runner lol! Shall do 6/7 miles on Wednesday morning I hope.
Sassy I hope your not too nervous still xx

Ive got a 5 miler scheduled in for Wednesday night but thats subject to change as im off to see my PT tonight.

I would love to do it in under 50 mins but haven't done enough training so will hope for under 55 mins...... Ah I'm nervous already!!!

Good luck tomorrow sassy! You'll do fine Im sure of it.

Sorry Ive not been about ladies. Im still running but still taking it slowly after my shin splits. Running about 10 min miles now bury only run 2 miles each run. Slowly building it up again though as Ive got the quarter marathon in a month.

How are you feeling now m2a? How's the knee?

Pos, how are you getting on with the training? Feeling more confident?

Hope you're all well!

Better to take it slowly Mel to avoid further injury, your doing great :)

Good luck Sassy, you will be fab

I can say with a smile on my face, my knee is feeling quite abit better, still getting the odd twinge and ache but i woke up this morning with no pain just hope it lasts.
I went to see my PT last night as i was worried about the milage ive missed but she put my mind at ease and im feeling better now x x

I now don't think I can compete  my oh has a golf match tomorrow and has just found out his tee time is at 1pm (he originally thought it was in the morning so would finish in time) which means he won't finish in time to look after C and I have noone else to babysit.

Oh no Sassy :( tell your OH he needs to get plenty of hole in ones to get back in time x x

Oh no Sassy what a pain! Fingers crossed for you he will be back on time.
I did a 7 miler this morning-Not sure when I'll get my next long run in as I am on nights from tomorrow until Monday morning. Maybe I'll get up early Saturday for a short run and then Monday evening I'll do my long run. 10 or 11 miles I think-Agghh! Don't know how I'll manage that back in London. Not many scenic runs there that long!

I had a 5 miler scheduled for tonight and thats what I did but my knee is now sore again, wish it would give me a break until after Oct 14th, when it wont interfere with my training and I can rest it! Next scheduled runs are Friday and Sunday x x

I thought I had to be there for 5pm (race is at 6:30pm) but just need to be there in enough time to pic up my number. Hubby texted to say its slow on the golf course so need you all to send some 'quick' vibes, mentally psyching myself up to run just in case he does make it home in time!!
