Aww thankyouuu girls!

It's not til 7pm so don't worry if I don't update til later on.

Lou, the next thing he said is to look at hormones, I reckon I'm pretty much tested out in that sense though although I'm having 3x progesterone after OV this month.

Girls what do you think about this.....

I got given the chromosomes blood vials on Tuesday whilst I was having my colposcopy and booked me and Hubby an appointment tomorrow morning to have the blood taken at the docs but when I told my MIL who is a nurse she said I shouldn't do them without telling my private doc and should only do what he advises, I know they are expensive and I might not end up needing them but I don't really care after the way some people have treated me in the NHS and also if I do them through my private doc they will be very expensive so shall I just go for it and do them tomorrow?

Hope I'm not crashing into a thread here, but been stalking a little....

Surely the nhs wouldn't want to do tests if had no value? I think when you are going privately self-funding they have to really consider each expense for you but if its being offered nhs, i'd take it!

Glad they're treating you better now.

Have to agree private is better - when I had missed mc, was told would have to wait 6 days for D&C! Moment they realised DH had private insurance, everything changed and ended up done that night! I work in the NHS and have championed it for years but that experience ruined it for me.

Hope it goes well tomorrow for you. xx

:dust:

Yeah your right pos!

Worst case scenario, the private doc isn't happy but when I pay my invoice surely he can't be cross with me lol!

xx

Hi Flissebbs,

thanks, :)

Yeah I'm going to go for it, I've had a couple of people in the NHS be wonderful to me and others be awful so I know what you mean.

I think it's important to remember that even the most specialist docs are still learning things on the fertility side of things and I reckon sometimes our problems go a bit beyond their expertise.

Yup, I think any dr who tells you they know and understand how it all works is lying....or doesn't get how ridiculously complicated the whole thing is.

Fx for you tomorrow

Good luck today hun xxx

Good luck today maybe, I say go for all the tests you can do on NHS, I did the same and my private doctor was happy with them. Otherwise you will have to pay yourself and it is quite expensive

I would do the chromosome bloods hun, we had them done a few months ago and they are expensive, so no harm in getting them done on the NHS, they deffo owe you that.

Hope tonight goes well! :) xxxx

Thanks Nurse and Miss J! :)

Me and hubby went at 7.40am and there was no doc to sign the form so we're going back on Tuesday, we're gonna check with my private doc tonight too, so that way we won't be going behind his back.

I had my thrombosilia and lupus today though, 8 bloody vials, good job I'm not squeamish!

Getting a bit scared now...arrrggh!

xx
