Maybe's private appointment

I've had 21 day bloods, and OH had semen analysis - both came back fine. I've just had my first appointment with the consultant, and he's booked me in for an internal ultrasound, a HSG and 3 consecutive months of 21 day bloods, just to be sure Im ov'ing. OH has to do another semen analysis too.

Its odd, because it's almost a year since my ealry mc, and Ive had nothing since. At first I was really upbeat, thinking well at least I CAN get preggers, but Ive started to lose hope a bit lately.

Im starting to think its more and more likely there is an issue, and hopefully it will be picked up at my scans and they can do something about it.

I wish I could afford to go private - Im really envious of your star treatment! And you've got your op so quickly which is great cos dont you find all the waiting around the hardest part?

I have only just caught up with this thread. Great that you are getting some help hun - and some answers! Knowledge is power and even if there is a problem at least it should be solvable. I'd have never got pregnant without them finding my problems so it's Defo the way forward. Xx

Naomi- I know what you mean about the waiting, it's good news about the sperm analysis and your bloods though.

Having a HSG is a good move and so is the scan, to be honest they sound like they know what they're doing, how long do you have to wait? Also when I had my scan it happened to be around Ov so I could see my big follicle about to pop, if you try and get it around OV that should help.

And believe me private is great but by the end of next week I'll be 6k poorer!! not cool! I can kiss my next holiday good bye, and my new handbag but hopefully it will all be worth it and I get my sticky!

How are your cycles? Do you use OPKs?
