Maybe - I bloody wish i could afford to go private, i'd like some answers after 18/9 months of absolutly nothing happening

Scotch - Why do you have to wait to hand semen analysis in? We could just take ours in whenever we wanted.

I went private for a laparascopy hysteroscopy in April Maybe and they found endometriosis. Not helped with a BFP for me yet unfortunately but help af pain a bit and bonus in consultant is going to keep tabs on me. My procedure was fine and they give you lots of painkillers so at the most you are a bit uncomfortable with hysteroscopy. Advise you to have a wee hot water bottle on stand by for your shoulder and they put gas in your abdomen which give you a sore shoulder for a week or so after. So delighted you getting help. x

It's a very small hospital, I'm guessing they've only got limited staff to do the analysis. You have to book a slot to take it in

I thought i was going mad when i had my appendix out and they explored to see if i had a cyct on my ovaries when i was 14. No-one believed me when i said my shoulder hurt. What are symptoms of endo?

Vic, I've had the colposcopy before, it's not so bad but I'm expecting the hysteroscopy to hurt a bit I hope I've got a hole it being near ov!

I'm finding something a bit weird, the NHS docs that have been mean to me in the past are being really really nice to me, they've arranged all the forms for all the bloods I wanted inc cromosomes so I just have to get the nice nurse at the GP to take my blood one day next week, I hope it's genuine as they feel bad I've gone private but I think they might think I'm going to complain, let's just say they've not had the best press just lately!

Nope

I phoned them yesterday and explained to them that i'm practically sitting in all day waiting for a call that i'm not even guaranteed will arrive so the nice secretary said she'd put my notes out ready and waiting for the consultant when she comes in as she has an admin sessions this morning.

I've been up since 4:30am - waiting for important stuff just plays on my mind.

Time is dragging so slowly right now aftr all the recent excitement. Sucks

No, just waiting for them to conclude the previous treatment cycle really.

Inform me on what has been said and what the prognosis is for the next cycle.

I've spoken to them now and no change really - i just want my period now so i can officially draw a line under it.

Good luck with your colposcopy tomorrow maybe i'm sure it will all go well, and friday too, at least you will have a better picture of whats going on after friday

so happy that your private Dr seems to know his stuff, it makes such a difference when dealing with private Dr's, well worth the money in my opinion.

You know when you were meant to have your op, did they give you an idea of what would happen next in terms of achieving a pregnancy.

hope your colposcopy goes well. i can't remember if you've had one before? if not, then i promise its nothing to worry about , quite similar to a smear. good luck for friday too xx

Yeah I have had one before, they're alright, waiting for the results is the horrid bit.
