Maybe's private appointment

I think i'm getting all confused - i thought it was your hysteroscopy today? :eh:

Get what you can on the Nhs maybe, as long as you have the results to pass on to your private he won't care.

I did the same with my private consultant - got a karyotype test via him, but got the treatment through Nhs. They are just happy for whatever they get paid for :)

Hi girls,

Just a quick update as i'm out for dinner, hysteroscopy was fine it's only as thick as a BBQ skewer!

I'm all diagnosed, I have a bit of a septum at the top of my uterus, but the rest and my tubes are all healthy and as they should be, i'm having an op on the 22nd to fix me up!

I'm actually really positive about this, the amount of tests I've already had the only other problem would likely be genetic which would be far worse.

Right I've got a nice amaretto sours looking at me so I'll be back again in a couple of hours!

Xx

Wow Maybe - that could be it! That septum thing definitely looks like something that could prevent proper implantation and cause m/c's!

That is amazing news!!!

When do you get it removed?

Here is a pic for anyone else interested - the dotted line is where they'd cut it out:

That's great news hun. Seems easily fixable :) Must be a weight off of your shoulders. Hope you have a nice night xx

Fab news that they've pinpointed the cause Maybe! :yay: How exciting! (In a weird sorta way, but I'm sure you get what I mean, lol). Roll on the op day! :)

Must have been such a massive relief to finally have a reason and a cure all at the same time. So pleased for you. :D

Amazing news!! One quick lopping out of pesky septum and you'll be knocked up in no time. Over the moon it's something so simple!! :yay:
Xx

Thats great maybe!!! :) so glad you got an answer and sounds pretty easy to fix! this is so exciting :) dont worry about the genetic bloods, when i had mine done they said genetic problems are very rare.

I have read a few stories online about septums, where baby tries to implant on it and it fails, so bet once it is removed all will be well :) xxxxx
