im hoping for a boy, my oh has a girl and he lost a son at 1 day old so we are both hoping for a boy. i feel boy but i dont wanna get my hopes up too much

Everyone is getting their nice bumps now! Love it.
When my mum was pregnant with me, my sister wanted a brother so badly that she kept threatening to throw me out the window if I was a girl. Kids really are funny that way.
Well, so much for a good bday weekend. My OH will be working late tonight, now has to work tomorrow too (so likely no shopping trip) and has to cancel our plans to see In the Heights on Sunday so she can fly to NYC for work and will be gone until Thurs/Fri. The CEO is being a real prick. I told her to get him on the phone for me so I could tell him that he was the one who promised an impossible deadline to the clients so he can cancel his honeymoon to go to NYC to deal with the client. This is an ongoing issue, promising unrealistic deadline to new clients, which is forcing everyone to work ridiculous hours. She came home the other night to only have to go back in at 11PM that night. She didn't get home until 5.30AM and was back in the office by 10:30AM. He also wanted her to ring the engineering team to come in at 1AM that night and she told him absolutely not or they'll quit.
Hope everyone else has a good weekend. Sounds like a couple will be finding out the gender, so that should be fun. Can't wait to hear the results!

My bump seemed to pop a little the other day, when i turned 15 weeks.
I was so worried about the baby yesterday. I was really anxious and tense because of being sacked the previous day. I was literally shaking all day. Then I started to get pains in my uterus :/ ok today though.

Gosh Dovekie I missed your news about being sacked, how awful. Did they give you a reason? I think they have to give a reason by law. Still if they are a bunch of arseholes then better off away from them sooner rather than later. Do you have any ideas about what you will do now?
Hope it isn't too far Nikki, I would have to have a nap first I can't stay awake that late at the moment!
I'm going out to pick up the blankets I bought, on my way home I'm planning on stopping at toys r us and looking at my shortlisted prams again. I've found two of the three I like advertised second hand at much much less than new prices, which is tempting but neither are in the colour I would have chosen and a bit of me wants something shiny and new for our maybe only child. Happy to go second hand on a few other things, I've seen loads of smart cots if we can't have my old one and I've seen a second hand pram for £25 that would be great for on the farm... Undecided.com here lol.

MissYeovil it really is (not) a fun age isn't it haha! It's funny the stuff they come out with but I've never known my little girl to be so passionate let alone about a baby's gender ��
Nikki I'm carrying high this time and was really low with my little girl it's so weird how different pregnancies are isn't it! I can't figure out how to put my bump pic on but it has popped massively this week! Will keep an eye out for your news tomorrow

Lisey I'm team yellow but I really want to know! I feel like I'm missing out on the gender excitement by not knowing! At least I have lots on here to get excited about!
I have to go and support my locals in a charity auction tonight. I so don't want to go! I just want to eat oxo cubes, lime pickles, peanut butter on toast and cherries! Xx

Yeah, she is. It's been crazy. It's a small startup and she is the number 2. We could be set for life if all goes as planned with the company, but the CEO is very close to driving all of his employees out. One of the girls in the team that's going is now forced to fly out on her bday and the CEO's wife, whose bday is also today, has been giving him an earful. Working on her bday and whilst they're on their honeymoon.
We have considered buying a pram secondhand, but with my mum buying the cot and others already volunteering to buy us new stuff, we may be able to afford it without a problem. Plus, as it's our first and we plan on another one, new should mean a lifespan for both!
I'm starting to think what I'm feeling is baby movement and not gas. Just wish I was sure.
Gosh nikki, my OH would so be taking a taxi home. I don't last past 10:30, and if I'm up later than that, it's because I can sleep, which means I'm too tired and cranking to do much of anything.
