May mummies and rainbows to be :)

Lol lil miss has been quiet all day. Then an alarm went off at work and she started kicking like crazy until it stopped. I guess she didnt like that noise.... or maybe she loved it!

they shouldn't go on the defensive, reassurance is what we need, esp when pregnant. We are more sensitive as it is and we need to feel secure.

This is what I'm struggling with right now. Every time I get a bit stressed my boyfriend goes mad and I get accused of being the worst girlfriend he's ever had (or something along those lines). I can't deal with any kind of argument at the moment and everything he says feels like a deal breaker. I just feel like splitting up with him every time. In fact, I get very stressed and have thoughts about wanting to die. I guess that's why I'm getting counselling :/

We had an argument this morning and I nearly packed my bags. He's normal a short time after and talks to me like nothing happened.

We bought a new (used) car in October and for a good couple of months the coolant was leaking on it and no one could find a problem with it! I was starting to freak out that they'd sold us a car that we were gonna have to replace the head gasket on but then DH stumbled across the problem that no one had ever been able to tighten the cap properly!! Been fine since then (touch wood). Our previous car was a zafira that got recalled twice! Cars are just a nightmare sometimes!

What is going on with all these men!!! I hope all you girls with problems are OK and are enjoying a night of feet up and choccies and TV! Mine is currently building a trampoline for the toddler group so I can't really complain. It does seem to involve a lot of sighing and occasional swear words atm haha! X

Dovekie, does he know how it makes you feel. If you need to charge or vent we are here for you lovely xx

So we got the car, it is amazing. Pick up next week xx

I really hope all these men sort theme selves out soon. You ladies deserve better! You deserve to be supported, not stressed.

We finally sorted a painter & decorator. Got it under £4K and they want to start this afternoon! Yay! Now it's just a question of how much they can get done before the move on Saturday.

The plasterer came round yesterday and told up there's only one wall that really needs doing the others are just a tiny bit of polyfiller for where wall plugs were and my dad reckons he can do that so the plastering for that wall is only £100 that will be done on Monday! Then we need to order the paper and get get the decorator in. Hoping to buy paper after next pay day!

That's great news Ery! It's always good to hear that less work is actually required.

We decided against wallpaper and to paint all rooms the same for now to save on supply costs. We'll be using wall decals in the nursery to decorate instead, and accessorise to add colour and a theme.

Is it bad that we won't have a nursery? We're currently turning the spare room into an office!

We don't have a spare room so no nursery either. Baby will have a section of the room. I wouldn't want her in nursery for at least a year anyway so I don't mind xx

Dovekie I won't have a nursery. Baby will be sleeping with us for a while so going to just decorate one wall and then she will be sharing a room

Girls what's the best way to get rid of nits? :( my boys have both got them and now I'm scratching aswell! Never thought much of the expensive stuff in the shops

My son has only had them twice. I used hedrin I think. Not 5 minute ones though, pharmacist said no good. So got overnight one. Worked fine. Double check what ones you can use though as can't remember xx

Ok thanks I'll ask at the pharmacy first before I buy anything

Oooo ive just dealt with this!!! I used hedrin it had to be on for about an hour i think ill double check the brand when i get home as that can be used in pregnancy and then washed my hair every day for a week using a quarter bottle of cheap conditioner leaving it in until it dried before washing out. Then after 7 days i used the hedrin again and it worked! My hubby and son used a different brand and did the same without the conditioner but they used one that was about 30min thinknit was advertised as 5 min but it said put it on then comb hthrough with this tiny comb and that took 30mins! Then we keft ut an extra 5 but thry used a diff brand.

We are only having one wall papered as we are having a forest murual on the wall the ither walls are a paint job

We are having one wall that will be for baby. We are painting the whole room light grey and getting white cot etc. Will have this tree wall sticker too, I do need to check the measurements though as we have a light fitting that might get in the way xx

I keep getting waves of super excitement and then waves of holy crap what have we done lol we did get to the point trying was more academic as we wouldnt let ourselves get excited until after the scans and now its not so academic anymore

Lol, we don't have any grey rooms so we are just starting out 50 shades of grey ;)
I am leaning more towards the second wall sticker, they are a bit pricey but I want to make her part of the room special and girly without it being too brash. Neither of us like the brightly coloured stuff with greens, reds, yellows and oranges etc. We like baby stuff more subtle and light.
It is so exciting :) xx

The first one would really limit where you out the cot and one its up if you decided it needs moving several inches one way or the other it wouldnt look right where the second gives more flexibility the second is similar to the look if what my front room will look like lol
