Lol. I've been sorting out more stuff to sell. Think we decided to go for hard floor in front room now.
I could feel either arms or legs in like a y shape last night either side of my bump. It was like she was practicing ymca lol.

I must have got a painful kick in my sleep last night. Coz I dreamt that she kicked so hard her foot burst through my belly like something out of alien lol

I am having a sort of things to sell too. I wasn't going to sell anymore as was getting on my nerves but I have had a little break so back on it now. May as well make a few pennies.
I had bad dizzy spell at work today, got hot and felt faint. Had to go and sit in a quiet room until heart rate calmed down again. I hope I manage once I have more hours! Xx

I had the worst case of gas yesterday. Luckily I know what that feels like from having digestive issue pre-pregnancy because when you're entire abdomen is in that kind of pain, it can make you worry. I couldn't even stand straight up. It was varying levels of pain for about 5 hrs before it calmed down. Thank god it's gone this morning.

Got my second set of tests from the amnio back- genetic screening was all clear. Of course they can't screen for everything, but he looks to be a very healthy baby boy. My torch bloods (infections test) haven't come back yet. I was in this morning for more blood work. This was for fetal bloods. They are hoping to tell whether he is Rh negative or not. If he his, then I won't have to worry about these fortnightly blood tests and anti-d injections.

I just got my quote for painting my flat with some plastering to be done- holy shit they can't be serious. I was expecting a couple of grand, but this is like £6k. Are they serious?

Glad all your tests have come back OK hun. Yikes that a lot for the decorating!

Had my 24 week appointment. She didn't measure my bump- said it's too early and they'll start that from 28 weeks. She took some blood to check my iron levels due to breathless episodes I've had. She took the tube off ok but must have slipped or something when she was going to take the needle out as I had blood all running down my arm and onto the bed! Lucky I'm not squeamish about things like that!!

I've got a GTT booked for the end of the month. Sounds like that is going to suck!! Lol!

How does the gtt work? I had it with my son but was 15 years ago so can't remember. How long do you have to wait around in between bloods?
Did she mention whooping cough jab? Not sure when I need to get that done and who by? Midwife or GP? Xx

Whooping cough is after 28 weeks I think, although it can vary from area to area. I think gp does it.

Gtt you have to fast from midnight, can only have black tea or coffee (no milk or sugar) or just a glass of water. Then then take blood, you have to drink lucozade and then a couple hours later they blood sample you again then you can finally have something to eat and drink.

I was hoping my bumpy would get measured but never mind. Hopefully she'll be measuring OK and not too big or small.

I'm feeling stressed about my travel system. Mothercare have made a real error with our order in that we were told we get a free car seat, but according to what I've just read on the cossatto fb page, we picked a pattern that doesn't include the free car seat!! Mothercare have said they would honour it and get us a free car seat and last I heard they were going to call Cossatto and get one shipped directly to them. Not heard anything today so I'll call on Wednesday when I'm off and see what's happening.

Yeah, I'm getting more quotes. I know there is some additional work to be done, but the quote for labour alone was £5100. That's mad. Even if plaster work can sometime double the cost, it still shouldn't be more than £4k in total, which to me is still a lot.

Everything in London is more expensive. If it wasn't for my sons school, I would happily move. His school is too good to give up and he is there until 25 so will be waiting a while xx

It is more expensive, £6k is way out there. Waiting on more quotes but have spoken to another guy and he said it really shouldn't even touch the £4K mark.

I know, that video is crazy. My little guy is extremely active in there. He's responding to taps on my belly now too. My dw had so much fun last night getting him to kick after she tapped.

That's good that you have a cheaper quote already. I am lucky in that my brother is a plasterer as I know it's so expensive. My OH is doing our room but it's pretty basic, stripping, lining paper and painting. He will drive me mad whilst doing it though!!

I haven't tried to tapping but she responds to some music and she is cheeky because whenever I say for OH to feel, she stops moving lol xx

Yeah, we are getting mates rates for out kitchen and new boiler installation, but he isn't available on short notice for this. If we were working to a tight timetable, we'd probably find someone through friend, but we really want it all done before moving in and we're getting quotes from places who are available immediately. Hoping to have someone in there by Thursday at the latest. It's a good 4-5 day job. I'm just so ready for it all to be done already and for us to be moved in. We still have to start packing, so we'll be busy doing that this weekend.

This little one likes to do some weird thing sometimes. It feels like he's popping bubbles or playing a piano. He tends to do this when I'm on the bus and starting to feel a little motion sickness from it. It's right above my belly button. It doesn't feel great when feeling nauseous, it adds to it. It feels really really strange.
