May mummies and rainbows to be :)

Aww bless you. I'm not a fan of apple either and often shout at tech. (Despite my degree in A.I. lol) I've heard some recent horror stories about Johnsons baby stuff but I'll probably still end up buying guide it lol

Quick gross question.
With thrush... does your discharge ever go brown or have I had a small bleed? I had a bit of bleeding this stage with my son so I'm not freaking out. But just wider ingredients if this is thrush related. I'm scared to Google coz you know how everything you google results in "your about to die in the next hour" lol. I've also had a slow nose bleed all day. So wondering of that's connected lol.

No hun, it's not too much to ask! All sounds very frustrating

Has anyone thought about their birth much? I originally wanted to birth at our local MLU but my anxiety has shifted onto worrying about the birth now so for the time being I think I'll try for the MLU alongside the hospital. It's further away than the local one but if anything happens it's just a case of nipping across the corridor rather than being ambulanced to another hospital!

Anyone else struggling with feeling breathless? I felt out of breath just sitting on the sofa and then when I walked upstairs to put my son to bed, I was really out of breath, my heart was pounding and my legs felt all weak and I had to sit down!

Not sure Ery, are you using any pessaries or anything that could irritate your cervix maybe? If you're worried maybe give MW a buzz in the morning?

I'm getting that too Emily it could be normal pregnancy stuff but I'm seeing my cardio just in case. You should get it checked out for the 1 in an unlikely chance you have a blood clot. X

I'm not using anything yet I need to wait for swap results but yesterday the consultant put a speculum up there and took swabs that probably irritated it.

I'm hopefully having my baby in the mlu at my local hospital. I'm worried they will induce me early if they think the baby is too small too. They did that with a lady I was speaking to today baby was born 4 weeks early at 5lb coz they thought the baby was too small. But like that seems backwards to me lol

Yeah, I'm quite tech savvy. I love my macbook, far more reliable than any windows PC I've ever had and retains its value better, but iPad and iPhones are really designed for you to have no say. Instead, they make things so difficult for those who are tech savvy, but I can't get myself to go back to android.

I don't know, Ery. I've never had it. But I always bleed after a swab.

Emily, I've been, but then again I can't always breathe with this stuffy nose. Since getting sick, I've noticed myself getting breathless at times, but not before that.

I have to go back to the hospital on Monday so they can drain me of more blood. Apparently they didn't get enough last time to run the tests. Fun times. I'll have more blood work done as part of the glucose tolerance test on Thursday next week and I'll be back again the following week for more blood work to test anti-d levels.

I've had it a couple of times in the last week or so. Got MW on Monday so I'll mention it to her then. I keep getting hot flushes too. I'm forever stripping off to try and cool down and then a short while later I'm freezing and putting everything back on again!

I think I'll be having a GTT too, as my dad has diabetes. No doubt we'll discuss it all on Monday at the appointment. Hopefully it'll all come back OK.

I am really breathless today. I have noticed the palpitations are worse this week, I am guessing because I am back at work and more active. Today though, I feel like I can't catch my breath properly, making me feel light headed. I have cardiology on Wednesday so will speak to them about it.
Ery, thrush can cause a little bleeding as can be really inflamed and sore. Maybe that's what has happened? Xx

Thanks lisey. Thing is I don't feel like I have typical thrush symptoms. It's not sore or itchy or inflamed. I've just been losing a lot of discharge to the point I almost convinced myself I had lost my plug. Then reassured myself sating nah there was no blood then this I was like erm..... lol but the consultant seemed to think all looked fine a little inflamed possibly but that could get normal for me.
Who knew foofs were so complicated lol

Hi all. Eryinera I hope it gets better soon!

Just to update and say my 20 week scan yesterday went well, all measurements good and looking healthy and happy. So relieved. I had to ask the sonographer to tell me it was still alive before I could open my eyes and look for myself!

I have been having regular physio and yoga sessions as I am having issues with loose joints which have become very painful to the point of using crutches to get around so not really having a great time with that. I'm still having to work as my oh has been out of work for a few weeks. We had to cancel our holiday as we can't afford it now. Pretty upset about this but it was going to be a very active holiday anyway so for the best really.

I feel really exhausted all the time and I am desperate for a break! We've had friends move into our spare room so no longer have the house to myself and means more noise, more money spent on essentials for the house and more work for me. I still haven't bought anything for the baby other than a free second hand pram. Oh well, at least I look more pregnant than fat now!! Not long till some of you are in the 3rd trimester how exciting! Xx

Betty, I am so pleased all was well at scan:)
Sounds stressful with having extra people in the house, especially if it is causing more expense when you could do without that. If they have moved in they should contribute though, maybe suggest an amount they can pay to help with bills etc. Not fair to come down to you, esp of you are the sole earner xx

Glad it went well Betty I agree with lisey they should be pitching in with money and keeping the house clean etc and helping you x

Oh they are paying half the rent and a bit towards bills so it helps a lot but I'm still buying all the tissue, coffee, tea, most dinners etc. I kind of like it though, they wash up after I cook so after that least it's not all down to me anymore. They are lovely people and I enjoy cooking so it's working, I think I was just moaning earlier when I didn't need to really!

I've been looking into pay monthly holidays, I'm desperate to have a break and some winter sun. I'm thinking canarie islands, has anyone done this or done the pay monthly thing? Xx

I've just experienced this. Just from going up two flights of stairs. I was out of breath and my legs were really sore. I've still got a virus though :/

Betty, glad to hear your scan went well!

First major decision in the new flat has been sorted. We bought the carpet for the stairs, hall and nursery today and have booked installation. After being at the flat for the first time since previous owners moved out, there is more that needs to be done. I don't think we'll be waiting on redoing the kitchen. We are hoping to get it done before this little one arrive, but it's difficult. We checked a local place today and he's booked until May. We really want to get it done by the second week of April at the latest. Now waiting to hear from a friend to see if the oh of one of the hockey girls has availability around that time to install. His rate would be much cheaper. Then it's just finding a kitchen. Hoping we get our quote for painting early next week so they can start by Thursday.

We decided we will book out 2 men and a van for the 28th Jan and just have to make the move. We can't put it off, but it'll really suck if everything the painting isn't done.

Hope you get it all sorted kabuk. I've got my housing officer round on Wednesday I'm seriously hoping this is the last time other wise I feel like I'm going to give up with moving really want to be moved this month I'm struggling as it is now with all the packing

Thanks, nikki. Really hope the outcome of the housing officer visit is a positive one. Moving is always so stressful.

I don't envy you ladies that are moving, sounds so stressful. I am stressed about stripping a few walls! Its mostly because there are big bits of furniture to move and I can't help. Think my OH is just going to do everything as he doesn't seem to want me doing much because I tire so easily with the heart rate issue xx

I've had enough of the whole thing to be honest lol done all the upstairs today got 2 days to do the whole of downstairs and take some rubbish kit the garden to the tip I'm so tired!! Been very quiet on here this weekend lol

We've got 25 bags of rubbish to take to the skip. And it doesn't even look like we have started lol
