May mummies and rainbows to be :)

I've had problems with my hands and fingers being numb and tingly like constant pins and needles it's never really painful tho just irritating

Congrats on the girl Gesic :)
Kabuk I hope you're ok. I had a cervical ectropian when pregnant with my LG but I only ever had one incident of spotting. It actually played up more after I had given birth but seems to be fine now. Hopefully all is ok and it's great he was being active :)
Snowbee I would say carpal tunnel too. Really common in pregnancy so hopefully that's what it is for you and nothing that requires an x-ray xx

Oh no, I have some sort of bug now. I'm supposed to be packing but feel awful :( I take it this won't affect the baby? He has moved lots this morning.

Snowbee I am the Queen of carpel tunnel (10 years of it now!) so ask me anything you need to. The pain you are describing doesn't sound like carpel tunnel. The only pains you tend to get with it are shooting aches around the thumb muscle, and up the side of the forearm and upper arm. If you're having pain that brings you to tears I would definitely suggest seeing a GP at the least today. Hope it gets better, let me know how you get on.

Dovekie I would mention it if you are worried but unless it is something serious or you're struggling with hydration you and baby will be fine.

Kabuk how are you feeling today? Xx

Thanks everyone. Feeling a bit better today. No fever, but still achy. Went to the hospital and heartbeat sounds strong and good. My abdomen feels good. Internal exam revealed a polyp on my cervix. This could add to the bleeding. Doc could see the bleeding but said it was light. They were happy to send me home and said that should the bleeding get heavy, should I see more larg clots or if I get abdominal pains that I should come back. They said the regular bleeding is probably a combo of the polyp and the low lying placenta.

I also got some answers in regards to the daily bleeding and being RH-. I'll now have a blood test every 2 weeks to see if I need an anti-d top up injection.

Snowbee, sorry to hear about the pain. Sounds awful. Hope you find some relief.

Thanks all. It doesn't hurt at all once I've got up, just random nights. Very odd. Vet has seen me and said he didn't think it required immediate attention just monitoring. Getting my MIL to look at it tonight as she is a physio specialising in nerve injuries so she might have some ideas.

I've looked up carpel tunnel, my ring and little finger were very slightly numb/pins and needles like when it hurts but not the fingers and thumb it suggests are the common ones for carpel tunnel. No pains anywhere else. If you put your hand palm down on the table then go from your ring finger down to the center of the back of you hand that is where it hurts. I wonder if I'm just sleeping on it in a weird way and cutting off the blood a bit. Will investigate further, at least it isn't painful while I'm using it or during the day.

I'm so tired today maybe it's the first day of school runs etc again so need to get back in the swing of things. Does anyone know when we need to have our whooping cough jab by? I haven't booked mine in yet

I think I'm having mine at my next midwife appointment. Out of all the presents my son got for is b day and Xmas.... it's the balloon's left over from his party that's he's played with the most /sigh lol

Typical ery. Some of my sons presents haven't even been taken out of the box!!
I have no idea about whooping cough, need to ask when I next see midwife xx

I had my whooping cough last week, and like the flu jab my arm has swollen and I can't sleep on it. Ohh I wonder if that is affecting the circulation to my hand and making it numb as it is the same arm... I've seen my MIL and she thinks I have been sleeping with my elbow twisted. I'm going to get it checked before I fly at the end of the week just to make sure. I was told to come after 20 weeks but before 32 weeks by the chap who does the jabs at our doctors when he did my flu jab.

So I go back to work tomorrow. I am on phased return so reduced hours and gradually building up. Tomorrow I go in just to see children and let them see I am pregnant etc. Feels weird to know I am going back but I am excited too. I am finally well enough, yey :) xx

That is great lisey :)

I can't believe how close tri three is already!

I popped into tkmax earlier as I need some bigger thermals when I go away at the end of the week. Saw the softest winter baby grow so I bought it hopefully in a big enough size for next winter! I also managed to get a newborn cardigan, I've been looking for one for ages.

I can't believe how close it is either tri 2 is flying by! Only a few more weeks and we will have a third tri thread scary lol

The April mummies are past 27 weeks now so we're next to join tri 3 :)

Does tri 3 start at 27 weeks then? My goodness, not long xx

Wow. I am 24 weeks this week so just 3 weeks. How has that happened?! Xx

That's fantastic lisey. Glad to hear you're able to get back to work.

I know, I can't believe how close tri 3 is. I'll be there by the final week of this half-term. It's starting to fly by now.

I know 3 weeks and we will have a tri 3 thread it's exciting lol
