Its could be true & tbh they probably wouldnt contact you & arrange that unless there was a problem - we had same, i remember saying to DH why would they want to call and must be bad reason & it was. But then again... It really dont nec mean that could be somit silly or it could be a case of hi guys so next steps are... Dont worry theres always somit you can do...whens your appointment? Tell them all supplements your taking cause they might / might not have an opinion on them.

What were the cooling things you bought for your OH. Am going to look into this as OH seem to think he’s balls are always hot. I’m willing to try anything at this point.
Our appointment is on the 12th June. Really nervous but glad we can fix the problem ASAP if there is one xx

Wait & see char. You really dont know what problem is yet - plus it could have worked this month.
Ours was counts so we added count stuff we also paid for male hormone test and he had a scan showing vericocle that is known to warm them up and cause low counts. Cause of the scan we had a potential reason so acted on it.

It could be nothing
It could be low counts
Low motility (so your issue instantly is different to us etc)

It was only £5-
He puts in sleeve and on for 30mns a day

Tbh not sure if any of its worked and wont till June analysis pt2 but so far with EOD DTD feels a lot more then normal tbh... & hes a lot more up 4 it. Since added ashwagandha (added for testosterone as his low end normal).

Also if it is bad ask for a retest early. They will rebook for 3mths. Get their advice on supplements for the issues.

Morning ladies - how are we all?
So tomorrow is AF day, i honestly don't know if she is going to show her face or not. I don't feel pregnant at all but at the same time don't feel like AF is going to arrive either. I know i should be positive but i just got an inkling its not my month.
On a positive note my blood test results came back all normal so i am ovulating which i am happy about
Now the dreaded wait for the OH's results x

My OH had a text saying he needed to book a follow up appointment with the doctor regarding he’s test.
We are obviously freaking out massively and thinking the worse and also going to prepare for the worse because after all they wouldn’t want to see him if everything was fine.
Just really hoping whatever the problem it can be fixed.
Feeling a little down in the dumps but I know we will get our little miracle one day xx

Aw hun that might not be it at all... it might be that both of your tests have come back normal so they just want to go over things with you both and discuss what the next step is. Try to stay positive (easier said than done I know) but remember the stress the last tests gave you and it turns out everything is ok? xx

I'm sorry they want your OH to book a follow up appointment. Obviously everywhere is different but I think you're right to manage your expectations as they generally don't call you unless there is an issue.

Things to remember: the results are being interpreted by GP so they will consider it a problem if even one of the parameters is outside of normal limits so potentially there is an issue yes but not necessarily a disaster. Knowledge is power in my experience so the most important thing is knowing what you're dealing with. Personally, I wouldn't be all that interested in a GP's opinion about fertility supplements as they generally have very little experience with fertility as it is.

I also wouldn't push through a retest quickly. Ours was pushed through by the GP and we didn't know any different at the time and the retest was basically the same as the first one. My poor OH was then basically labelled as infertile by the fertility clinic as he had 2 abnormal samples (just what any man wants to hear!) and told our chances of natural conception were hopeless. I pushed for a third test after more time had passed (NICE guidelines recommend 3 months) and the sample was entirely normal. I know I go on about this a lot but we really were put through such a distressing experience because we were poorly advised and I really wouldn't wish it on anyone.

Oh and your time will come and trust me it will be so worth it.

Just a little point about ‘hot balls’ haha. I realised in Feb/March that we conceived twice in summer last year when my hubby stopped having baths because it was too hot. He loves a super hot bath and haves them all the time. I made him stop having them and then that month I got pregnant! Could be a coincidence but maybe not? X

Ive seen this on 2 of the bfp results so far as something different as well. Got to be something in it

We are all the same. I remember sitting in car running dh sperm sample to clinic thinking jeez this is surreal never ever thought this would happen ever-
And the sperm result i couldnt believe it was bad. I had always presumed i had bad eggs or bad cm and who knows maybe i do!? But when she said 10m i went oh f--k thats it. All this blinking time!

As for the analysis, I am sure even if there is a problem it will be fixable, I get the impression it is a bit easier to fix the sperm than it is to fix us girls. All will be ok x

Agree with you here! I do believe its easier to fix the man then the woman!

I’m sorry you’re stuck in limbo, could be something as simple as a dodgy sample or a bit dehydrated etc, try not to think the worst (easier said than done I know).

At least you will get some answers soon. Xx

I am having my second period since d&c and they were only 2 weeks apart so my body is just crazy right now. I worry a little as it’s all messed up. I have no idea of its a really period or just bleeding for no reason

Char is OH taking Wellman conception supplements? Obviously you don’t know if or what the issue is yet, but i read positive reviews from men whose sperm count increased after taking them for a while? X

Yes he has been taking them for months now and also Omega 3 xx

If your OH rings and asks to speak to a doctor they can tell you the initial findings over the phone.

They can’t tell you as it’s not your results but they can tell your OH, especially if he says that you have anxiety and waiting two weeks would kill you both and affect your mental health.

At least you’ll know if it is an issue or not now.
