Nurse hope sweep works for you, can't believe how fast time has gone. So exciting that Esperanza has gone in not had any more updates as of yet, hope she is ok!

Either way I'm being induced on Tuesday...just hope baby arrives before that...

I've taken castor oil...this is the last thing I can seriously think of trying! I took in about 3 hours ago...it'll either just give me the runs or contractions...we'll soon see!

Oh my!! My mum had castor oil with me and she regrets it, as I'm looking for something else to do but I don't dare take it but if you go in to labour soon I'm going to get some! I'm being induced on Monday eekkkkkk!! Xx

Yea...my sister used it and my mum used it and it worked so I'm hoping for the best but we'll soon see! This seriously is last resort I've tried everything! I really don't want to be induced! Seriously I didn't think it tasted too bad...just the whole idea of drinking oil is off putting! It tasted like lipstick!

I thought castor oil wasn't recommended cos it can upset babes tum inside????

Yeah it can cause babies to have a pooh in their waters. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't so it's just whether or not you want to risk it!! xx

Do you mean about them pooping...I don't think there's any proof of this-they only do this when they're distressed. Castor oil does exactly the same as spicy food...I think they don't recommend it because you can get dehydrated but I've got that sorted!

When my sister took it she told her midwife who said we're not allowed to recommend it anymore but she completely swears by it herself!


I took it about 5 hours ago now and I've had strong cramps and smelly wind but that's it!
