aww thats sweet. i really dont think you could mistake these contractions for anything else tho not having had BH i dont know for sure. im kinda glad theyre only like a min long and 7 to 9 mins apart. just gotta find a decent film to watch to pass the time now lol. letting my OH sleep while he can cos he gets a lil panicky if theres nothing he can do and that would annoy me a lil right now since i cant even think of ringing the hosp til these get unbearable or a lot closer.

Sounds like your not going to need that induction after all. Im wide awake ive been for a bath i can normally go back to sleep after that but its not happening today. Is it your whole tummy that hurts during contractions? I should really have thought to ask before now lol. I want some breakfast dont think theres anything nice in the house though i really fancy a bacon butty but we got no bacon? Xxx

well at the min its like a band of pain that starts at the bottom of my tum towards the back and then goes upwards like pulling up a band or your pants and stops at the top of your tum and fades out. it really helps to relax and breathe thru it, much more painful if you try and move round a lot or tense up.

I been getting funny pains just above the pubic bone every so often for the last few days but i think its just her punching me i swear this child must hate me already lol xx

ive had niggles and period pains and cramping kinda things but these are intense waves of pain. i think you will deffo know when they start lol. getting more regular now, at least 1 in every 10 mins. still doin ok with just paracetamol and breathing thru them tho.

I've been losing my plug through the night every couple of hours I've been awake. The pains seems to have gone so I'll just have to see how today goes! Though it was the start of labour last night! X oh bev it sounds promising! I wish you all the best if I don't speak to you later! X

I've been up on and off during the night with period pains, mainly just dull ache but a few times bit more painful. I think bean is getting right down now my bump def feels like it's dropped.

i always said this is totally my OH's baby, he would go the same and jump rather than be pushed. i made him cuddle me for an hour to get warm as im feeling a mite chilly now. just got myself a cuppa and will try and keep track of contraction timings, im pretty bad at that lol, its confusing and i keep forgetting what time the last one was so i can only say a rough estimate of how long between. bonus is i know i can have more paracetamol soon lol

my muffin is moving when he/she wants, but I haven't lost any plug, that I can think of, unless I have been for weeks, and after reading all what you have been through I don't think I am. No BH, nothing. I really want baby to come in the next week. I am fed up.

Also I can sleep the whole night, I have to wake up to move, but I don't have to get up to wee, or anything. I know that must be a good thing, but I just want muffin to come now.

A2m: she didn't want to do a sweep because she didn't have sterile glowes (what kind of mw doesn't have that??) and she said that the hospital would do this in one week because then I would be their responsibility. A bit strange - I mean, the worst thing that could happend is labour!! And that's a good thing! Anyway, I know I should be gratefull that everything is okay with lo so will stop moaning now...lol!

Yesterday, before I went to bed, I swear I could feel baby's head between my legs. I regret not going in stairs, because now I can't feel it anymore. Will have to Get out and go for a walk I Think. Want my period pains back and the pressure in my pelvis back!!

How is everyone feeling today? Good that more people Are having period pains - I think it's a good sign

Wonder how Bev's getting on!!! Anyone know?
I woke in the night with period pain & a dull ache in my bottom!! Ha. Has eased a little now. Still getting contractions too but am so over them now! They're just a big tease!
Wee man has just 4 days to get on with the real thing. Still can't believe it's only 5 days until my induction! This time next week Ill be a mummy again! Going to miss being pregnant, but looking forward to knowing my boy is healthy after all the scares we've had.
