I’m gonna be (hopefully) starting my 2ww just as ur getting ur BFP!! 😁

As for the oestrogen side effects.....I genuinely believe it is a miracle I have managed not to kill anyone!

Other than that, I can cry at literally anything, I suspect my boobs may actually explode at any given moment and I could sleep for a week! My dose goes up to 8mg a day from the 6mg I have, like u, been taking from tomorrow so I think it might be best if I become a hermit for a week or two now! Can’t complain though, I have been lucky enough not to get the awful nausea and headaches I know some ladies have to endure.

20percent haha, that's actually nice to hear, I thought I was going crazy crying my eyes out all day. I did get the nausea from them tho, so food isn't really my friend at the moment. A bit scared to start progesterone, might have to ask for just patches in stead if I start to vomit

I’ve had some light bleeding from 13dpiui. Not a proper period but I’m guessing I’m out.
Will test Monday morning and inform the hospital.
I’m done, 3 cycles in 9 months.
I’m totally and utterly exhausted. I’m guessing it’s the progesterone shots.

Oh Crazycatwoman...ur not out till test day or AF but I have been where u r too. I’ve still got everything crossed for u for Monday 🤞

I had to take a several months out after my last FET, it is a physically, emotionally and time draining process IVF. I truly believe it did me good to have a break.

little update from me, finished taking the pill on Saturday, so now waiting for aunty flo to turn up so I can ring the hospital. im going In expecting the cysts to still be there and as large as they were, just don't want to get my hopes up too much.

As for me, I had my scan on Wednesday and my lining on day 11 was 8.2mm (hurrah!&#128513. Unfortunately there was a large cyst on my left ovary which the sonographer was unsure whether it was inside or outside my ovary. Results were sent off to the Spanish clinic and they have confirmed it is outside the ovary soooooo.......after 4 months of eggs, cysts and fibroids.....I am FINALLY good to go!!! 😁😁😁

Of to Spain for the day (gonna be a looong day) a week today for my double FET....yay!! 😁😁

Well I phoned the clinic today and I just now have to wait to be booked in for a teach lesson?? I’m guessing this is where they go through the medications with me - it wasn’t really clear on the phone to be honest....

That’s great news 20percent, forgive me for not knowing - but what do you mean by your lining was 8.2?

Yes, it’ll b a session to teach how to do the injections and take the other meds u may go on 😊. It seems a little daunting at the time but don’t worry, in my experience, clinics r quite happy to go over how to take things when u get them 😊

No worries at all.... there is so much to take on board when it comes to IVF isn’t there!

clinics usually have a minimum uterine lining size for having an embryo transfer.....it seems mostly to be around 7mm although my current clinic prefer it to be 8mm. Basically, the thicker the lining, the better the chance of implantation as far as I understand it! I think implantation is still quite possible with a much thinner lining though 😊. I had a 12mm lining a couple of months ago so I’m kind of quietly hoping this one will plump up to around that too by transfer day......but that’s just me wanting it in my head.....I don’t know that it would make a huge difference!

Evening ladies. Just a quick update from me. Aunty flo turned up yesterday, so I got into today at my hospital. All good news, the cysts have cleared up and we've been given the green light to start. Had my first injection today and will be back at hospital next Wednesday for a check up scan.

Feel like I'm in a dream! Can't believe we've finally started! We're on short protocol and the doctor reckoned that we'd have our egg collection in about 2 weeks, if all goes according to plan!

Thursday can’t come soon enough for me!! I am absolutely wiped out with this oestrogen...it’s ridiculous how 4 of these tiny pills a day can have such a huge effect on ur energy levels 😴😳

I’m starting when af arrives this cycle - my 1st IVF cycle. Due 22nd ish (my birthday ha!)
Feeling really positive given the low odds.. I have a very low almost undetectable AMH. No other factors.

Hey girls, just back from the hospital. So this was this first scan on injection day 6 (so cycle day 7 over all) and so far we have 9 folicles looking promising. Back at hospital on Friday for another scan but that said today that all being well, my harvest (hate that term) will be at the end of next week! Eeek!

So, I am getting picked up at 03.30 in the morning to head for the airport for my day trip to Spain for my FET.....should be going in for the transfer at 10.30 (9.30 uk time)....although this is Spain so am expecting it to be closer to midday! 😏

I’ve got everything crossed (well, except my legs I guess given the procedure! &#128586. I cannot tell u how scared I am of flying so I’m just hoping I can keep it together with the two flights in one day 😬

Looking forward to being back home and POAS obsessively for a week or two! 😁
