July 2019 mummies

I’m 13+4 & still having all the symptoms. As with most of you mine also get worse as the day goes on. Feel pretty good in the morning, well apart from the awful taste in my mouth which I’ve had all pregnancy but once midday hits I start to feel rough again. After dinner (5-6pm) I’m totally wiped out & I feel huge & uncomfy which practically lasts all night. Can’t fall asleep on my sides as it makes me want to throw up so I have to lay on my back & then I’m up 2-4 times during the night needing to pee. I think the uncomfortable part will stay with me the whole pregnancy. Really wish the horrible taste would go though, that too becomes more noticeable as the day goes on. I find I snack a lot to to give me some brief release of the horrible dry/morning after hangover taste or I have to chew chewing gum most of the day.

I never had any of this with my other two children & id hoped by this many weeks it would have subsided but i can’t see it going anywhere just yet :(

Linnett, that sounds like a day for me too - so similar I literally could have written that! I was hoping for some respite around 13 weeks but maybe that isn't coming :(

Laying on my right side makes me feel sick and as the night goes on so does laying on my left, it's weird. I've ordered a Preggo pillow from asda (not too expensive) so will see if that helps me get more comfy.

I also seem to have tummy ache most of the night and when I wake up. Not cramps, just aching, kind of like I need a poo. Does anyone else have that?

I get that but at anytime! Have done for weeks. The only time I know I need a no. 2 is if I've got digestive cramps/sharp pains now. The pain/cramps/bloaty feeling goes once I go. (sorry tmi) Looking forward to normal digestion and hopefully my diet getting healthier again soon. I miss spinach. Currently hiding it in my food to eat it.

Good luck Marvellous! Let us know their reactions.

Probably won’t get a chance to come on tomorrow so I’ll say happy xmas now:love:
This time next year we’ll all have a little bubba (or 2) celebrating too <3

Just come on here whilst I had a spare 5 mins. Hubbys ramen kids out to walk the dogs - it’s so lovely & quiet right now! Better get sorting to tomorrow dinners for 13 soon!! Think I’ll be ok, doing most the prep today so should just be a case of chucking it all in the oven tomorrow & hoping I can serve it all still hot ! Big reveal tomorrow too! All my family & the kids. Hoping everyone’s excited although I can actually imagine my mum might be annoyed that I didn’t tell her earlier lol. Shall let you all know how it goes ! Merry Christmas if I can’t get on here before!

I hope all revealing today and tomorrow goes well :)
We just wrapped pass the parcel for tomorrow and it's massive, lol. Practiced popping a balloon myself to see if it would burst and almost wet myself making myself jump. Idiot.

Merry Christmas ladies to all of you and your families, I hope you have a lovely time and the nasuea stays the hell away for just one day! Xx

Didn't go how I expected. My daughter hates surprises, so she went all quiet and took herself off for abit but once she'd had half and hour she's now turned into mothering me lol.

My son is excited and wants a brother called spongebob haha

So predominantly on my right side I am having a bit of pain. It’s not a massive pain and it’s not exactly a cramp (struggling to explain what it feels like) But I think it’s like an ache type pain. It comes and goes. Think it’s likely to just be stretching and moving? I *think* baby is more so on my left but not sure

Glad it seems to have gone well! She can absolutely mother you, make sure she looks after you!

Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas. It was quiet here. My daughter caught a sickness bug so spent most the day in bed, and my husband was working.

How you all feeling? I was starting to feel better but gosh I feel rough today. Think everything from the last week has just caught up with me. Gunna try a nice walk today to blow away the cobwebs.

Sorry that your daughter has been unwell, I hope she feels better soon.

Christmas day was great. Managed to pretend to drink a glass of champagne, family didn't notice once they'd had a few themselves. Then we did pass the parcel with my niece popping the balloon in the middle. To say they were all shocked and surprised was an understatement! My SIL (the mean one) actually cried! Then the second surpise of it being twins and they literally couldn't belive it, lol.

I managed to eat a little bit of dinner (no turkey!) which was nice. And it was a chilled day. Yesterday was a bit pants as I felt rough, DH at work so I was on my tod all day. Same again today but my pregnancy pillow just arrived so I'm happy.

Anyone else suffering from constipation? Ive not been for 5 days and it is impossible, making me feel really unwell :(

Got some lactulose to try but I think I need a colonic!

@Radleycat , your surprise reveal sounds lovely<3 i go from constipated to the complete opposite back to constipated. Joys of pregnancy! Hope you manage to go soon.

@Linnett3 how did your reveal go?

@Sugarpop , how are you feeling now? I get the odd pain too but its usually gas:rotfl:

Telling my grandmas our news on NYE. 1 will cry of joy, 1 will most likely say something like "jeez, I've got enough great grandkids as it is" she never holds back on her opinions:roll::rotfl:
Just found out my cousin is due a boy in March, and another cousin is due 3 weeks before me.

Paranoia has finally gotten the better of me and I've got myself a voucher for an early scan. (under £35 thank you Groupon!) Hopefully going to get it booked in for some point in the next few days.

With the rocky start to this pregnancy, and the fact I have crazy anxiety made worse being off my meds I need this to stay sane.

I couldn't wait for my official 12 week scan in another 2 weeks 5 days time. I'm currently 9 weeks 5 days now. Last saw the squidge at 6 weeks 4 days after the bleeding incident. I just need reassurance our little miracle is all OK.

If it makes you feel better go for it. It's such a weird time the early stage. Even with symptoms it's hard getting your around there being a baby in there!!!

Hope everyone has a lovely Christmas. X

I really hoped my symptoms would be better by now but have felt awful today! It's getting so frustrating because it's hard to just get on with it. If I go out I literally can only cope with a few hours and I'm done! I feel like hermit. Sorry to winge.

Hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas time!

I’m off to the hospital to collect my insulin tomorrow. I only did 3 days of monitoring but knew it would come really, despite my readings being amazing for me personally. The diabetes team don’t care because it’s not within their targets and they are insisting. I know it’s better for baby but it’s the next 30 weeks trying to make this work. Bricking it.

Hope you all had a lovely Christmas ! Sorry to hear some of you are still feeling so rough. My nauseas not as bad, boobs still quite sore though ! And have been very tired today but I think that’s just because the last 2 days have been so busy. The reveal was good. Everyone was so surprised. Kids opened their t shirts at the same time & my DD took a while to read it whilst my 4 year old son threw his on the floor & said “I don’t want this!” He just thought it was another boring item of clothing haha! But when we explained he was excited. They both are. DD rubs my tummy at every opportunity bless her. Rest of family were happy & my mum was but did keep making a point of how I’ve known for so long & not told her which I thought she might do but I haven’t heard from her since so I think she’s taken it to heart more than I thought. Can just imagine it now “she doesn’t tell me anything anymore” and she’s very stubborn so this could go on a while!

Dinner for 13 wasn’t actually too stressful either, I’d do it again so couldn’t have been that bad.

Hope you're all doing ok, haven't been on here much lately as I was worrying a lot with my 12 week scan coming up... just back from it now and looks great! baby was wriggling about and kicking and punching a lot! it's so unreal to see it on the screen and think that's my child inside me... unbelievable feeling! can't wait to see it again at 20 weeks!
