Hi Ellie, thank you so much! Wow cant believe you're almost 23 weeks! Seems like yesterday we were in WTT section together. Hope all is well with you and bubba?



Stacey, apparently a symptom free pregnancy can be normal. Not everyone gets them. Do you have an early scan booked? I'm sure I saw someone on the Nov birthing thread say they had zero symtpoms throughout the whole pregnancy and gave birth recently to a healthy baby.



Katie, welcome and congrats! sorry to hear you have some date confusion. Are you booked in with the GP/MW? They'll most likely send you for a scan to confirm.

Hi Aebx! I can't offer any advice on energy levels but just wanted to say welcome and congrats


Took a Digi this morning and got 3+. I'm 5 weeks today (I think...) so expected a 2-3. Not complaining but wondering if i'm further along than i thought. Or its twins??

Thank you! I have a midwife appointment next Tuesday so hopefully she can shed some light or get me in for a scan ASAP!

Hi all hope everyone feeling well today. Welcome to those I haven't said hi to yet!

Have had my scan and we now have two clear heartbeats! Bigger baby measures 6.3 and smaller 6. Still early days but the nurse seemed confident everything is on track for a twin pregnancy!! We are both amazed and excited.

Booking apt with midwife is this Thurs and we have private scan just ahead of Christmas. Keeping everything crossed.

Oh and my due date has changed to 19 July.. only two weeks later than I thought 😂

Congratulations lissa! How exciting. Must have been amazing to see two heartbeats! Hope everyone else is well!!

Is anyone an absolute cow at the min!? I'm like I've got PMT at the min!!! My poor family! I've got my first midwife appointment tomorrow.

Thank you! I have no idea about when they induce - but think generally it's common to have twins around 35 weeks.

I am feeling ROUGH today . Think other half has given me his cold and I'm so tired. Also ravenous all the time. Had a massive lunch and still hungry! Anyone else the same?

Far from it. Not got a great relationship with food atm. Iv lost mearlyhalf a stone because I just can't eat and if I do it's nowhere near the amount I did. I wish I could just enjoy a meal.

Still fighting off this bug atm. It just won't go and making me feel awful. The cough is so bad.

I'm feeling rough pretty much all the time atm and sleeping loads. Literally sleep for 12 hours then napping for a couple in the afternoon. Sick feeling on and off all day, particularly after I've eaten. Weird.

So I have another scan tomorrow at the medical centre. I've not had any bleeding for a couple of days, just pinky discharge on wiping but I wonder if the progresterone has slowed that? I'm really not sure what to think tbh.

Quite scared about tomorrow. Hoping the larger sac still has a heartbeat and that we can find out if the other has grown or not. From Saturday they didn't sound hopeful for the smaller one but they didn't say a lot. I spoke to epau at home yesterday and they said it sounds like vanishing twin but they can't comment fully without scanning me themselves so I'm to get the full report tomorrow to take home with me. Then I have an epau on Monday back in Oxford.

I know they said that the smaller one likely isn't viable but I can't give up hope just yet that there arebt two babies. I just can't. And I hope that the other one is OK. It's all so terrifying

I'm the same as Marvellous... not a good relationship with food just now and losing weight. I managed to force down a baked potato with cheese today, but that's all. I'm really feeling awful and not enjoying pregnancy at all. I feel nauseous all day long, no moment of rest from it at all. Most days I'm struggling through work from 8 until 5.30, and then go home and sleep straight through until the next morning. DH probably thinks I'm just exaggerating about how bad I feel and that I'm just being silly, but I really do feel so awful. I'm in tears nearly every day recently as I'm really struggling with this... I'm sorry for complaining, and I really hope you are all feeling a lot better than I am.

Hopefully all goes well tomorrow Radleycat, are you still in Qatar? From what I've heard of twins, most of the time one is a bit smaller and takes an extra week or so for heartbeat to appear... so don't give up hope just yet!

Radleycat sorry to hear you're feeling so stressed. The whole vanishing twin thing is such a worry, try not to Google too much (easier said than done I know) and trust that whatever happens is meant to be. Really hope it works out for you.

Marvellous/wannabee sorry to hear you are feeling so sick and losing weight. On the up side it's a clear sign you are pregnant but it does not sound fun at all. Hope it passes soon. XX

Yes potentially late June! Just need to wait for my next scan to see if both babies are still going strong.
