July 2017 mummies to be.

Me and OH went for cooked breakfast this morning but half way through I suddenly felt very warm and just knew I was going to be sick, had to quickly dart outside and threw it all up just outside!! How embarrassing!

I have had barely any sickness so far and have felt great for the last few weeks so what that about!?

Oh that's not fun. I felt like that yesterday but luckily managed to bag some sour sweets to tide me over til I got home. It is still coming in waves for me and I have to make sure I don't have an empty stomach for too long as I'll start to feel ill again. I've randomly thrown up after a couple of meals (and not until later in the pregnancy) and I'm not sure if there's a link as to what I've eaten or if it is just random. I'd say I'm feeling 75% better now and I'm desperate to feel better fully again.

Getting up in the night to pee is getting tiresome already!!

I had my midwife appointment on friday. Was horrible because my bmi is 31 she had to talk to me about my weight. She said i was more likely to need a c section as bigger ladies are very lazy and struggle with pushing!
She said if there was something wrong with baby it would be harder to pick up on a scan because of my weight.
Was a horrible appointment so glad i wont be seeing her again and will be back to my lovely midwife at 28 weeks (2nd pregnancy so see them less) only good thing is we heard the heartbeat even though she said it was unlikely she would be able to find it because im so big.

Oh Aurora, she sounds like a tw*t! Sorry she made me you feel so crap!

At least you don't have to see her again!

I have my midwife appointment tomorrow really hoping she will listen to heartbeat too, have been feeling pretty rubbish today after being sick this morning!

Will update tomorrow, hope everyone else is doing well xx

Hi everyone! I'm living in the West Midlands and due 12th July 2016. Anyone else living near or anyone from anywhere just want a chat? I don't have any pregnant friends! But would sure like some :) x

Hi Kirstie! I don't live near but also due 12th July!!

Congratulations btw, how r u finding pregnancy so far? Is this is your first? xx

Hi Julybug! Aww brilliant :)! Not a problem about not living near :)! You in the U.K.?

Thank you! Congratulations to you too! Yes, this is my first pregnancy. So wanted and planned, but we didn't expect to catch in our first month of trying so came as a bit of a shock! Lol. Pregnancy so far is all good. Still a little sick at times, but nothing too major and all our appointments have been fab. How about you hunnie? How are you finding it? And is this your first? You had your scan and everything? :) x

Yes from UK, I live in the south east by the sea :)

First time for me too! Wow one month, that is lucky!! It took us 5months which feels like no time at all now but was stressful at the time!

I have seemed to have avoided too much sickness thankfully although I did randomly throw up this morning right after I hate breakfast which was strange!

I've been suffering with a lot of headaches and backaches, I have a midwife appointment tomorrow so really hoping to be able to listen to the heartbeat again and talk about all my concerns.

I've had two scans one private and one NHS one both were fantastic and so unreal! It's hard to believe there's a baby growing inside you when you feel completely normal!

How was your scan? xx

Aww lucky you living by the sea! Bet that's amazing huh?

Fab :). Yeah I know! Well, everyone had told us it can take ages, like up to a year, perhaps longer. So I was thinking it would take that long. We got married a couple months before we got pregnant so knew we would start sooner rather than later :). 5 months isn't long at all :)! But I can imagine every month you were hoping. So happy it happened for you quickly :).

Lucky you then! Until this morning of course. But hopefully that was just a one off :). I've had it for a few weeks in first trimester but it is getting better now. Just happens randomly now. Can't wait for it to stop completely! Lol.

Oh no :( have you taken anything for the headaches? Did you have backache before sweetie? Or is it new? Hope she can help you!! I had my 16 week appointment last Thursday - bit early I know, but that's when she booked it for! I didn't get to hear heartbeat but think it's just the way it goes in my area. Happy for you that you get to :)! You got a home Doppler?

Oh my gosh! I totally understand you! It is amazing but so weird to not feel anything yet! It's like it's all really just in your head until you see the scan. Yeah my scan was fantastic. Think we're going to get a private gender scan soon. Are you going to find out? We've had all our blood tests and nuchal tests back too which are all clear and really low risk. Such a relief. Did you opt in for screening chick? X

Yes have had all the blood tests which was get results for tomorrow, the nuchal scan and bloods came back with very low risk so that's good!

I can't wait to find out the sex!! My OH has put his foot down to paying for another private scan though so I will have to wait! My next scan is the 24th Feb!

I haven't got a home Doppler but hoping she will be able to listen tomorrow, most of them do but I guess it depends on your area!

I just need a bit of reassurance that everything's ok down there! lol

Do you have much of a bump yet? I have a small bump but mostly bloat probably! I think little bub is still hiding! lol xx

Aww fantastic. Same here! So nice being told you're very low risk isn't it! Congrats sweet.

Aww no, has he? Surely you can twist his arm?? Ha. I feel too impatient to wait for my scan - mine is couple days later on 27th February :).

Yeah I guess so. I was a little gutted, but I've got a home Doppler and found the heartbeat so all happy with that :). Completely understand you wanting reassurance hunnie, but everything will be fine :)! Eek. Hope it all goes wonderfully for you and she finds the heartbeat straight away :).

I have a bit of a bump but as you say, mainly bloat. I'm a curvy girl anyway so think it'll take longer!

How long you been using this forum for? Met many people from it?

Aww yay SalisburyMum! Congrats!

Yeah I think it definitely takes longer to show when it's your first, I'm quite slim and have quite strong stomach muscles so think it's all being held in lol

A private scan costs £75 here and I just think I could spend that on something nice for the bubba instead! I just need to have a little patience lol!!

I'm off work today, feeling so rough think I've caught a cold, my heading is thumping!

X

Good morning. Hope you all had a nice weekend.

I definatly have a bump now and feeling lots of movements. Feel like i spend most of the nights getting up to pee so tired and could really use a full nights sleep.

Got my next scan on the 8th february so not long to wait.

Not long at all Aurora!

I felt what I thought was a 'flutter' on Saturday but nothing since!

I haven't been going to the loo that often which is good, I'm such a deep sleeper not much wakes me up! I usually just wake up busting for the toilet! lol xx

Just had my midwife appointment, heard the heartbeat so feel relieved! Got a recording of it too lol blood results all ok so just got to stay sane until next scan now! lol xx

I bought an AnaWhiz sonaline Doppler. £36 on amazon and it's great!

£55 for a sexing scan here... It's my birthday in Feb so think we are going to go twos on it for that

Morning ladies! Hope you're all doing well :) haven't posted in a while as been unpacking and organising where everything's going, only got a few boxes of bits left to sort so got done pretty quick. Had midwives appt last week and said all my bloods and everything came back perfect and blood pressure was great :) was a bit annoyed she didn't listen to the heartbeat and don't see anyone until March 3rd for my next scan, GD test on 25th March and don't scan see midwive again until April 3rd! :o Will they listen to the heartbeat at the scan? I'll be 21 weeks then. I assumed as this is my first I'd see midwive more often, january-April feels like a long time inbetween to see her.
Tempted to buy myself a doppler but know I'll scare myself if I can't find heartbeat :/ xx
