just been for my 40 week appointment and have a sweep booked for a weeks time, she said baby is fully engaged and was moving loads she said he is happy were he is! I was awake most of the night with really bad crampings and backache which i haven't had before, she said it can start and stop several times before actual labour!! Think it hit me that im having a baby soon, and now i feel nervous about his arrival its sooo scary!!!

Hope the rest of you July mummies are well. Nothing to report here - just the same, runny poos, lots of little aches and twinges and feel really really heavy down below, like everything is gonna drop out of me lol Got an appointment at the hospital tomorrow for my last growth scan (see how fat the little monkey is gonna be and hopefully be put back to mw led care. Can't see any reason why not cos everything has progressed well so far.

so I had a rethink on babies coming home outfit I had a born in 2013 babygrow but decided that if this weather holds up it will be far too warm for baby so I ventured out to mothercare. I have got a pink outfit and a blue outfit and can just take one back! Made me laugh one of the sales assistants asked when i was due when I said tomorrow her response was 'oh my god what are you doing out?!' didn't realise we were meant to be housebound xx

I'm over due and still going out a bit , if it wasn't or the heat I'd be out loads ! When I went in to labour with my first my mum said one on we will go to the park for a walk I wanted to go shopping I just hung on to the rails lol x

just had another sweep, getting some pains now but don't know if that's just from being messed with. My baby does not like being poked! Also got my induction date a week Sunday and another sweep on Monday. Soo lets see what happens!! Xx

Haha!! Ah bless you hun! Iv got a bit of backache wonder if any of us will have due date babies?! No iv got it on Tuesday at my last appointment they said I could have it today but they wouldn't be able to do anything or on Tuesday and they will do a sweep and book my induction! Hopefully I won't make it to that appointment. How you feeling hun? Still getting aches and pains? Xxx

haha no i just feel exhausted just had a bath to feel a bit better, just going to do my nails and eyebrows as the midwife said she doesn't think he will be long arriving, but had no signs lol!!!! Where i am they cant give you a sweep until you are 41 weeks and then you get induced at 12 days over xx

Iv got some good bad ache going on didn't even do that much walking today I went last Friday for my eyebrows waxing and my nails doing. At least we know we have a max of 2 weeks left. I find it amazing how different areas can be I think im only about an hour from you and think standard induction in York is at 10 days overdue xx

41 + 6 and still no baby . Had 2 sweeps, 3 pessarys and now awaiting check up tonight to see if my waters can be broken to then be put on drip. Boo, hurry up child! X

O no I feel rubbish and I'm 40 + 3 .. 2 sweeps and 2cms dilated

Hope they can break your waters for you! Hopefully that along with the drip will speed things up for you x

Ooo ladies I wish I knew what the hell was going on!!! Iv been having cramps mainly in my back for the last 3+ hours they are not forming a pattern and haven't had to take anything yet! Iv just had yet another poo either my third or fourth of the day and lost more of my plug still clear at the moment. Just wish I knew if this was the start of something or not don't want to get all excited for it all to fizzle out, tempted to have a shower, wash my hair and shave my legs just incase probably be a waste of time xxx

I has to step away from the forum yesterday.. my midwife told me last Wednesday that I could have a sweep the following wednesday. Prepared myself to have it done yesterday at the birthing centre and the midwife refused to do it, as they only offer sweeps at 7,9 and 11 days overdue. I was so upset.

I'm still suffering with sickness and threw up this morning quite violently.

Induction booked for a week today if these sweeps don't work.

Being overdue is horrible

Hopefully pessary will have worked its magic in the morning then they can break my waters. Going to try and get some sleep as I'm knackered xxx

Really sorry to hear they wouldn't do the sweep bonfire bride its soooo frustrating when you gear yourself up for something and then it doesn't happen especially when it comes to these babies!!!

How you doing Mrsolly? Hope you got a good nights sleep.


Well update on me still getting tightenings although the pain is in my back mainly which is very confusing, they are still only about 20 mins apart and are not getting any stronger I have lost loads more of my plug overnight. Haven't had a great nights sleep my mind is in overdrive I'm so excited that this could be it!!! On the other hand it could be nothing and I could be very grumpy tonight soo guess we will just have to wait and see but I could be having a due date baby xxx

just an update, I'm in labour! Sooo painful had an epidural now though so managing to rest. Been in labour about 15 hours. 6cm at last check xx
