Of course welcome !we do winge and moan a bit tho lol

So annoyed I have music magpie picking up a box of unwanted DVD and cds that didn't sell at car boot or eBay which is great but it's an 8-8 slot for when they come to get it. I had the first time in forever a reasonable night where I managed to sleep with only two loo breaks and no throwing up and I could so have stayed in bed n slept longer instead had to get up and dress and come downstairs grrrr am on sofa n want to doze but if I do am afraid il miss them it also means garden is off limits and I can't go for my walk as garden u don't hear doorbell and I need to be home. Grrrrr.bet they don't come til 7.59pm too just to spite me lol also know my mil sent a gift card which arrives today I have to sign for so we can buy our nursery furniture so waiting on post which varys between 11and 3 ish usually. Just winging really cuz I'm tiered. X

I must say I hope you and dani don't go at the same time don't want to be missing out on 2 labour threads hope it's not too much longer for you hun have you had or do you have a date for a s&s? Erm so iv just realised I haven't written a birth plan does it have to be strict or can it just be a few notes? I'm missing my 38 weeks mw appointment as I'm seeing the consultant x

Lol, we do keep saying it would be typical if we did go at the same time!
I had my sweep yday Hun! And been so bloody uncomfy and achy ever since boooo!

My mw just wrote some rough notes down in my folder and said even tho they're in my folder I'm best telling them what I want to!
But saying that I'm quite open minded about my labour, its gonna go how it's gonna go iykwim? Lol! (Apart from no opiets for me!) everything else has pretty much a green light!
So it depends if you've got ur heart set on things you want then I'd write it down and be very persistent!

Aww Karlie bless you poor thing! Hopefully not too much longer to wait now! I think that feeling anything post sweep is a positive so these aches and pains can only be good! July is a better month anyway xxxx

Oo let's hope that something happens then I had the best night sleep that iv had in a long time last night so surprisingly in a good mood today still fat full on water and achey but at least iv got a smile on my face!!

Going for my weekly trip to the market to get some fruit today and going to try and potter about the house rather than just being sat on my bum all day was going to get out in the garden but the suns disappeared typical!

Thank you! The only thing I really don't want is an epi because I'm scared of the needle otherwise I'm like you what will be will be as long as baby arrives safely I'm not bothered really x

Julys an awesome month! fx they do because they really do bloody well hurt! So if being labour is worse than this then I may have to be strapped down as me and pain are a big no go! Lol!!
I wonder how dani's appointment is going?
My mums just been on the phone bless her, and said if I want a bath to ease the pains I can go to hers! (We only have a shower) she only lives 2 doors down to so its not far ha ha

I'm not ruling an epi out, it's just one o those things I think uve got to be open minded about, because if u say u don't want one so badly and then do end up having one i notice people feel so guilty about it but everyone is different and u might just go in have gas and air and ur baby will just fly right out fx it does, lol!

Maybe these 'pains' are actually your contractions???? Are you timing them to see if any pattern is emerging?! Exciting!!!! I don't want to scare you but labour gets worse and worse until baby physically is here so maybe prepare yourself for epi as that will be a life saver! I am the same with pain and will be asking for one as soon as they let me have it! Xxxx

Needle phobia? my cousin has one to and when she had her little girl she really didnt want one but had to have one in the end! but she was so off her face on opiets she thought it was funny! haha! hopefully u wont have to have one tho, and the gas and air and opiets will do the job just fine for u! nothing worse than having a fear! I've got a fear of sick that's why I don't want the opiets lol! I know I might not be sick, but I might be to so the less stress on us when we're in labour the better

Ive done a little one..

Just says:

*Would like a water birth in MLC
*Birthing partners (mum & mike)
*Vit K via injection
*Gas and Air
*Delayed cord clamping if possible (until it stops pulsing)
*BF as soon as poss after birth


Im not writing anything about epidural, if i need it ill have one, but im leaving that off as that would mean going on consultant led, so ill decide when im in pain haha xx
