I had my breastfeeding workshop today, was ok but would have liked a demo on positioning and attaching (with a doll obviously lol). But no. We just sat about chatting. The main piece of advice I took away was when in hospital ask the midwives for help with it, don't just try and get baby to latch on yourself cos if you screw it up your nips will be agony and you could end up with cracked nips and mastitis. Ouchy.

Bbybump16 I've not lost any plug either but not bothered still early days. Not had any period pains either. I get the odd twinge on my right side of my tummy but think this is my bowels needing emptied (yuk sorry!).

Saralouise are you going to be induced or are they still monitoring bubs growth? Sorry not been on much the last few days. Mat leave has been kinda busy! Having a quieter week next week phew x

They are monitoring him for now, got another growth scan on Tuesday. I've already accepted that he is gonna be dinky,butr hopefully he will be about 5 lb 5oz next week and then ill be chuffed.

Dw about the plug business, ive been pracitally ODing on raspberry leaf tea and caps haha (not literally overdosing dw) and doing anything possible so i think mines coming out from self inflicting lol. My friend didnt lose hers until 5hrs into labour!

Ohhh thats poo about the BFing class. We had dolls! must admit it was embarrassing tho lol. there wasnt enough so we had to take in turns in groups so everyone was watching. there was 3 diff positions that she shown us to do.
did u get a dvd cos it shows then on there aswell. The doll was WAY smaller than what noah will ever be born so not sure if itll actually help me haha!
found the info good on everything else tho.. didnt realise the main cause of cracked and sore nips is if the baby isnt taking in THE WHOLE nip and nipple has to get as far back to the soft palate as poss!!
OH was well impressed with the class haha xx

Well ive been taking RLT since 34wks.
It defo softens the cervix! But its not spose to bring on labour just help ur foof get prepared lol! Xx

Got my sexy time earlier..... Half a pineapple, and sat sniffing my oil! Haha x I had some crazy strong braxton hicks earlier but they only lasted less than an hour. After sex tho I had the sharpest pains across the bottom of my bump, god knows what it was but I literally couldn't even sit up after! I was like oooooh sexy! Haha x but after a few mins they went.

I want my plug to go now x

I popped baby was born at 21.40 at hospital with forceps after being in labour for 2!! Days! On gas & air only tho will update tomoz as feedin n 10% battery left xx
