* * .. July 2013 Mummy's .. * *

Ive lost a bit of plug earlier!! Wooop woooooooop hahaha. Xx

Dani have your baby tonight or tomorrow or so haha :D That's what snooki were like (Yes I actually watched snooki & Jwoww as its alot about her pregnancy, birth, post birth) But it went like plug went, labour starts and not soon after baba was born! Can you still go in the bath after plug goes or is it water am not sure whats different to a birthpool and the bath tho as long as you don't pour any stuff in it right?

I've been up 9 times with reduced movement - I think I win the crazy pregnant lady award!

Hi July mummies, just on the subject of stretch marks I've just noticed a whole new crop of them under my bump. I can only see when I use a hand mirror lol. They're not too bad and although I'd rather they weren't there I'm less bothered than I thought I'd be. I've been slathering on bio oil from about 18wks as well. I'm also pale Dani and have loads on my hips and thighs from teenage years. You'll still be a yummy mummy on the beach hun! You're a real woman just like the rest of us, we really should be proud of our bodies :-) x

I missed this!

Aww thanks hun :) :) xx

Ladies...
Jut wondering about this vitamin K offered after birth to baby.

My MW hasnt discusses it yet. But baby can either have injection or orally..

Whats everyone going with..? I dno if i want Noah having an injection so soon. They dnt have their 1st jabs till 8wks. Cant decide!? Lol x

Hope this is the start of something for you dani.

We are having the injection, just wanna get it done. Personal choice though hunny, if you don't want Noah to have it that's completely your decision x

No injections until atleast 8 weeks, as there is a part that connects to the brain that prevents toxins from going straight into the brain. If I would allow vit K it would solely be orally! and not until 4 days past the birth. Just did some reading up about it. And if you eat a lot of greenies pre birth and make sure you get enough vit K1 in naturally it will be transferred through breastmilk which seems to me like a much better choice opposed to synthetic vitamins which can do a lot of harm too! What's wrong with NHS putting all babies under the same medical blanket?! Vit K is supposed to help blot clotting, if you do have medical assistance during birth, birth via c-section or you're going to circumcise soon after birth by all means do get the injection as those babies are at higher risk. And Bottle feeding, there's extra vit K added in formula.

Think ill go with the injection then.

Ive only done a lil reading on NHS website but will make sure i bring it up in next MW app.
I just didnt wanna make him all upset but if none of ur lil ones even felt it then i think im happy to just get it or that way :) xx

I understood that the findings against vit k like links to cancer etc have been ruled as not acurate I think the vit k is worthwhile it prevents rare but problematic blood clotting problems I'm gunna let ours have injection I don't think it has side effects and orally is more than one so more stress for baby xx
