Hey girlies, hope you are all ok only 2 more days until I join you in tri 3, I'm having mixed feeling at the moment one on hand I cannot wait to have our baby in my arms on the other hand I don't want to have to share I'm sure I'll feel differently once s/he is here but I love having them all to myself.

Haven't had any braxton hicks as yet, I am also leaving at 35 weeks Laura taking 2 weeks leave and then starting my mat leave at 37 weeks. I've got leave to take between now and then so only have 26 more shifts to go woohoo!!!!!

I have felt complete pants today felt really dizzy and sick and a migraine starting, hubby came home at lunchtime to look after me I was really paranoid that I was going to fall over, just had a bath and have smoothered myself in strawberry body butter and have a foot pack on so not feeling as sorry for myself.

Hope ur jab goes alright saralouise lol!! It was so strange cos it was terrible the fri an the sat and sunday i woke up and it was fine!? Just a lil bruise but the lump an swelling just went! So fx if it does happen it wont for long hun, i found a cold flannel helped!

Ahh lauralou i haaated my last bloods! My MW couldnt take it properly blood stopped mid flow lol! So she sent me up the hospital for the antenatal unit to do it!!
Ull have to check that they tested u for what they needed to last wk otherwise ull have to have it again


But im all fine and dandy, kcks are getting so so strong now! Hes seriously trying to break free lol!
Im mega uncomfortable in work aswell. Sat on my arse with pelvic girdle pain an this belly that gets in the way of my desk is bloody hard work haha!
I wih i was leaving work earlier than iam but ill e gutted if im overdue and waste my leave that i can tag on the end. Fx i can cope lol! Ill be 36+4 on the 7th june thats my last day! and it cant come soon enough!!! Xxxx

I only have 29 shifts left in work sounds much better than including all the days off inbetween haha! Only 2 full weeks and the rest are either 2,3 or 4 day weeks so not all that bad..but jeez dont they drag lmaoo!
Im wishing this pregnancy away when i should be enjoying it all because of shitty work!! Xx

I'm the same now Dani next week i'm only working 2 days then I have 1 4 days week all the rest are 3 days!!! I know how you feel about wishing the pregnancy away I am trying really hard not to but it's so difficult. Time is flying by though although I am sure the last few weeks will drag xx

Yeah Ill regret it when its over haha and im like ahh bumps gone! But i cant wait to meet him I just hope my maternity leave doesnt go as fast as the pregnancy has! Ill be back at that desk and leaving him xx

Yayyyy didn't have to have my bloods done again, woo!

Got my glucose test on Monday tho, booooo! No food allowed from 10pm the night before til after the test, yikes! Not even allowed a cuppa The mw said il be there at least 2-3 hours, joy, but my friend is coming with me so that will be funny! Will just wander round the hospital.

12 weeks to go!

What, the glucose test? Ah what's it like? I'm dreading it cuz I keep going faint regardless, so with bloods I'm even worse!

They just took one vile of blood, and then I had to drink 2 cups of this very sickly syrupy drink then a cup of water, then got to go back in two hours & they take another lot of bloods. I had my whooping cough vaccine at the same time, and that was okay too, hardly felt it. Just worked myself for nothig haha x

Ah sounds fine then, had visions of them wanting loads of tubes of blood and I hate it when they fiddle around swapping the tubes!yeah I had the jab today too n it was fine.

I was all bruised she stabbed the needle in my muscle or summit haha but I lived so all is fine, what is this glucose test tho? I havent heard of it and my mw didnt even mention it! Due to see her again on the first of may..

Its for gestational diabetes hun.
I haven't needed the test. U only have to depending on particular medical history etc.. google it.

If ur MW hasn't mentioned it its doubtful u need it x

I'm having it cuz diabetes runs in the family, think they just like to be careful. If 2 relatives are diabetic then they check you just to be sure. People also have it if their bmi is high x

I think they should check everyone! Incase you just get it without having any history in family etc... or is that not common lol? xx

Oh my yea they should because I haven't got a clue if any in my family where diabetic, closely related or not my family is huge. And I have a sweet tooth so to say..

Has anyone got themselves any sleeping bags yet? I am well confused cause of them growbags, whats the score .. Well mainly whats the difference, going asda later and theres loads on offer.. Considering that my bank account is stuffed with money I will go crazy!

I have 2 gro bags in diffrent sizes.

One for when hes a few weeks old (think u have to wait till about 6 weeks to use them going to use cellular blanket in mean time) also got a grow bag in a larger size.

Think u just pop baby in their babygrow and sleep suit so arms keep warm and literally just put them in the cot x
