Hey ladies,
Just a quick update from me;
Went in to DAU this morning and they gave me a quick emergency scan. He was still not moving but heartbeat and cordbeat seemed fine, so they put me on a trace. He still wouldnt move for like 35 minutes but his heartbeat was steady at around 135bpm, so they started mission get Harrison moving..
I had to drink a bottle of big bottle of lucozade and eat a mars bar (made me feel a bit light headed actually) and lie on my side for 2 hours!! They then did another trace and he did move a little bit but they still arent happy. They have no idea whats going on because he seems so healthy and there doesnt seem to be any reason why he isnt moving!
I have to go for a proper growth scan tomorrow, which a fetal medicine consultant will also be attending. So hopefully we get some news as to whats going on.
Its so strange because hes normally so active but he just seems to be deep sleeping so much.
(( Personally I have a theory that its something to do with his or mine blood sugar levels. I know that I had my GTT at 28 weeks but I still have a feeling its something to do with that. Because it seems the only way for me to wake him is to completely overload my system with sugar, this makes me think that his blood sugars may be a little low. Also when I eat something very sweet I feel a bit funny, like a bit light headed, which I have mentioned to the miwife before. I did bring this up with the midwives today but it kinda got dismissed so I dont know if im just talking rubbish! ))
