Oh you have nooooo idea haha! I feel like I can finally breathe without a massive weight sitting on me ❤️ I've been told to Call hosp to get them to change my dating scan - I was right all along!! As the 29th July will mean we are too late to have our screening tests done.

Is anyone else at 14 weeks yet? Blueflower is & I am tomorrow, does that mean a tri 2 thread for us all soon ? X

Also does anyone know if because I'm consultant led I'll see a midwife at 16 weeks or do I just go through to 20 weeks without seeing anyone ? X

I think I have to see a midwife at 16weeka too and haven't been confirmed as consultant led FBTT. Il miss everyone as they start to migrate to Tri 2 but am so happy for everyone! Xxx

So happy for you hun gosh yes, that would have been another thing to worry about if you'd missed the boat for your screening! I have another scan tomorrow to check in on my little one.. I have this horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach but i'm hoping that's just because i'm such a pessimist.. Praying it goes well.. Ooh yes you'll all be moving on! Looking forward to meeting you over there! I don't know for sure lovely but i'd have thought you'd still see mw and just have your consultant appts on top? xx

That horrid feeling is just the worst!! But try not to let it bother you... I was awful and didn't take anyone to the scan with me as I was convinced they'd just be dissappointed. Silly I know. Let us know how it goes! I'm sure you'll be fine ❤️ Xxx

Floating on a cloud today ladies! Baby has grown perfectly in the last week and all looked great..His/her little hand was by their face and they looked very chilled indeed I am choosing to be positive from this moment forward in this pregnancy and won't let anxiety and Google get the better of me! My tubes also appeared 'less abnormal' than on the last scan so the sonographer was fairly optimistic that it isn't a hydrosapinx and more likely free fluid in my pelvis. Massive PHEW and now I can get on with life!! xx

So, just back from ultrasound and the shock of my life. I was looking up at the screen and wondering "is that two?" when the midwife says "are you seeing what I'm seeing?" to my boyfriend.
I can't believe it. For weeks I've been saying my biggest fear is that there will be two, as I've been so sick. And because I read that the chance of two eggs releasing is higher if you're over 30.
Total and utter shock. Back on Thursday to see a consultant. At least I shouldn't have to fight for a c-section now.

Thanks girls. I think I'm happy, somewhere underneath the shock. lol
They're non identical thankfully, so at least at lot less to worry about complication-wise. But so much to take in now. Had a sit down with a midwife specialised in screening to discuss how the process is different in twin pregnancy. Absolutely sure I'm not doing the diagnostic tests, but I think I still want to do the screening. Might need to look up Harmony and other options available privately.
