**********january 2016 mummies**********

So really, you're carrying the equivalent of an 8lb baby at 30 weeks, eek!! I'm glad we don't know what ours weigh yet...I'm already thinking they're not going to fit into many of the tiny baby clothes we've got after being measured today.

We're due the same day aren't we lols? Or are you a day or so ahead of me?

Oh I feel it believe me lol. I'm due 16 January having them on 22nd Dec xx

Just spent most of today snoozing! Was up in the night with my son itching but got zero energy today, I need to go and get my 28wk bloods done but have to go to the hospital which is a pain. Feeling so tired and tonight I need to go to work and ask to be moved to another dept Sunday was awful, was so busy and I was shattered after 8 hours, on a plus 5 weeks left in work

That's not good, try and take it easy. 5 weeks will be here before you know it!

I'm pretty knackered today too but had my whooping cough jag yesterday so putting it down to that. Just back from antenatal class, last one so that's it! Now waiting for Monday to see the consultant and hopefully get him to agree to a section.

Am sure there won't be a problem with that. I had the jab last week and just still a little bruised. I'm stressing there is still so much to do the house is constantly a mess I need to get a day to get it all sorted and keep on top of it. Carpet and furniture arrive for nursery in 2 weeks so I will get there sorted and should be a little calmer. The nieces and nephews gifts are all wrapped and just need labelling and ds are all wrapped and ready so just got to get food organised next month which will be a relief as I am hosting two bday parties for son. So yep five weeks should fly by.

I'm sure once the carpet is down and the furniture is in you'll feel much more prepared :)

We've got everyone's main presents for Xmas so far, just got some bits and pieces to pick up then it all needs wrapped. Sounds like you've got a busy few weeks which is always good when you're on a countdown to something.

Had a midwife appointment yesterday and was a little bit annoyed to find out that I should never have been told by the GP surgery Doctor that I needed iron tablets after my last blood tests. My iron levels are absolutely fine, and I've been taking them unnecessarily, for 3 weeks!

I got both my jags today, how do you feel? I was already choked with a cold so not noticing any difference at all.

Gosh that's not good at all! Bit worrying when a doctor tells you that!

To be honest I'm feeling a bit crap today - tired and got a bit of a dodgy tummy but don't know if it's from the jag as I know there's a bug going about too. Got a sore arm too. I had no side effects at all from the flu jag which I had a fortnight ago, no inkling of a cold or anything so think I was pretty lucky there. I didn't think they gave you the flu jag if you have the cold? Sure someone on here said they went to get theirs and they wouldn't give them it because they had the cold.

Was the opposite with me. My GP called to say my iron was extremely low from bloods taken 4 weeks previous with the midwife. They wanted to know why I didn't lift the script, I wasn't informed.

We had a trip to the maternity ward yesterday.
I'm having slow mild contractions. No dilation so no immediate danger. Steroids given for lungs as a precaution, said it could go on for a few more weeks like this, but as I've had 2 previous sections not to take chances. Lots of rest and straight back to the ward if they become more regular or intensity increases.

Really need to get organised. Have no energy to move of the sofa haha

Midwife thinks the Doctor who did my results and wrote to me, didn't take into account I'm pregnant. Apparently for a pregnant woman, my levels are perfect for everything. Even if I wasn't pregnant, the levels would only be out by the tiniest amount and even then, the midwife doesn't understand why a patient would be prescribed iron tablets. It's so frustrating because they've been messing with my digestion and in turn, made my anxiety worse!

I thought you weren't meant to have a flu jab if you have a cold?

They just said as long as I didn't have a temperature or on an antibiotic I could have it.

It was my nurse who wouldn't give me the flu jab because I had a cold and a sore throat so had to go back the following week to have it done. She gave me the whooping jab so it wasn't a wasted journey.

I'm absolutely shattered ... Olly is sleeping great at the minute so I'm only waking in the night for a wee, maybe twice at the most, and I'm getting up with Olly at 8-8.30ish. I'm like superwoman until mid afternoon, I do all my housework on a morning while Olly is having breakfast then I sit down and have mine while he is playing then we get ready for the day, 2pm comes and I start to waddle ??!! Heartburn is coming back and my craving to eat absolute shit. I weighed myself at the weekend and iv put on 1 stone 7lb, I can't remember what I'd put on last time round at this stage but I put on a total of 2stone7lb with Olly. I feel massive too, compared my 32 week bump pic to Ollys and its identical !!!

I could really do with a day on the couch doing absolutely nothing !!!

Ohh tillie take it easy Hun, it really could be any day now

Xx

You've got such a lovely bump! Wish mine looked like that  they're so alike too!

Tillie, take it easy! Your body is probably giving you a sign that you need to slow down a bit. Hope they ease off and don't get worse!

I honestly did not move all day. I am so tired it was great to lie and sleep.
I haven't one thing in the house for his arrival should he come, don't even have a bag packed. Maybe this is a good kick up the butt I need.

It's a bit too soon anyway for his arrival, but this is my last baby, I'm not ready to not be pregnant just yet. I'm being very selfish wanting to keep him to myself for a little while longer x

Rest if you need to. Can you order some bits online for him if you're not feeling up to going out? Means you can rest at the same time ;)

I totally understand that, keep him in as long as possible. Wish I felt that same - I just want them out now!! I was really enjoying being pregnant until a few weeks ago.

I was like that with the other two, couldn't wait to get to the finish line. I think it's because I know I'm never going to go through this again, I want to treasure every uncomfortable moment haha....crazy lady here
